hey would you be able to give tips with the subways with strollers? it's always hard to go up the stairs and not sure which one has elevators or location
@MariesKawaiiWorld4 жыл бұрын
Personally, I don't take my stroller unless I know that I'll be using subway stations that are accessible (based on past experience). I wish there was some sort of map that showed all the elevators but I haven't been able to find one. Some stations have elevators on certain lines and not others, and sometimes certain elevators are out of order... your best bet is to bring the baby carrier or ensure that you have someone else with you to help lift the stroller up the stairs.
@leinal92244 жыл бұрын
Marie's Kawaii World thanks for the advice! It’s too bad there no map for us mamas who travel to know where all the stroller friendly stations are 😢

Your videos are so helpful! I want to do all of those things mentioned (except for the Hanbok rental. I'm plus sized, so I doubt they would fit). I was wondering: for all the street food and souvenir vendors, do they typically only accept cash, or do most of them take credit cards?
@MariesKawaiiWorld6 жыл бұрын
Most stores accept credit cards but I think for street food vendors and local market vendors, you should carry cash. Some may accept credit cards but give you a lower price if you pay in cash.

thanks for this Marie! Maybe a bag or something? also, can you do what street food we should try in insadong?
@MariesKawaiiWorld6 жыл бұрын
Hi! I'm not sure about k pop at Insadong... but for sure in the Myeongdong underground mall if that's part of your tour. Street food wise... you can try a traditional Korean dessert called hotteok which is a deep fried pancake with brown sugar & cinnamon in the middle. There is also this brown candy made of baking soda & sugar that is kind of an old school Korean dessert. There's this soft serve ice cream with a piece of honeycomb that is unique. I also like the giant swirly potato chip, and the oval shaped bread with an egg in the middle. Also don't forget to pick up a box of Dragon's beard candy!

Thanks for the tipps! :D Do you have any advice to go to Nami Island or Garden of the Morning Calm?
@MariesKawaiiWorld6 жыл бұрын
I do!! I’ll try to make a video. When are you going? My main tip is to take the first ferry to Nami island and leave by 10-11 because that’s when loads of people start coming to the island. (Especially if you’re going on the weekend or during ginkgo season which is peak season). Afterwards head to the garden of the morning calm. Driving is best to get there early, but if not you can take a tour bus from Myeongdong, but you’ll end up with the crowds. 😀😀
