To each his own. I left San Diego after living my whole life there. Not worth it so spend your life working your ass off for a few beaches and nice weather. I moved to Tucson Arizona and everything is SOOO much cheaper. I can now afford a house and save for the future. Enjoy your overpriced overhyped city.

@@KaliLife619 it's funny, I live in AZ and think this place sucks. You work hard as fuck here too but there's nothing to do after work. No beaches. No real social scene. Not even any young people outside of Tempe. I would kill to live in San Diego. At least you can LIVE LIFE there. Here in the summertime, everyone is just an indoor recluse and it's the most depressing shit ever. Fuck AZ.

I've lived in san diego my whole live and have been everywhere here, I also got scuba diving certified when i was very young, I still live here and love how it has so many hiking areas and mountains. I also love how no matter where you are, it's like a 30 min drive to the beach and how the only 2 seasons we have here is summer and fall.

Being from San Diego this video hit most of the great things to do in San Diego. Here are a few of my favorites. #1 Best place to watch a sunset is Law Street beautiful grass area overlooking the beach. Bring a chair and beverage and you’ll be set. #2 Take a water taxi from downtown San deigo over to Coronado for lunch or shopping. Very cheap and something different most people wouldn’t think of getting to Coronado by. #3 Chicano park has totally being revitalized something worth checking out it has great art and some of my favorite coffee shops. #4 Greeting from San Diego mural is located in North Park on 30th street. #5 Not really something to do but just a recommendation. Most popular family beaches are La Jolla shores and Mission beach south of Belmont park. Of course everyone has there favorite beach but these two are my favorite for families with kids. Enjoy our beautiful city.

I like doing the Harbor Tour. Can’t say enough about Balboa Park, so much to do there. I like the Maritime Museum also. Often times I’ll schedule a trip so I can watch one of the cruise ships sail out. I LOVE San Diego!

Also, you can take the cheap ferry from downtown SD to Coronado with your bike. So you can bike from anywhere near downtown and get to Coronado car free.

Visited San Diego each month for 3 years because I was living in Barstow, CA and it's just 2.5 hour drive away. I visited all that's mentioned in the video and 70+ more. :) San Diego is "America's Finest City" and it has the best weather in the world. :)

I'm a local and no.3-7 can be skipped. Instead, head to San Clemente and enjoy good food and a nice beach + kayaking. There is also Torrey Pines for outdoor and beach lovers. The sunset cliffs are great. If you are looking for some good hikes and fresh local food, head out to the Poway or Julian area. There are waterfalls hikes in winter and spring, 1-2 meter mountains (3000-6,400 feet), and, of course, potato chip rock. Also, make sure to check out the Wild Animal Safari Park, rent some bikes to cruise mission bay, and get some local good eats at North Park. If you're into the desert, then Anzo-Borrego is out of this world, with one of the most starlit skies at night anywhere in the world.

Torrey Pines is top 15. Also Petco Park too (I guess that can be included in the Gaslamp/East Village), you don't even have to be a baseball fan. It's a beautiful stadium, drink 30 different kinds of local beer, 40 local food vendors, chill out on the grassy knoll with a blanket.

The coaster is another fun trip. With great stops on the way to oceanside. And walk to the end of the pier to eat at ruby's in oceanside. Then take the coaster back. Stop of in Carlsbad is another destination to see. Nice shops and restaurants along the beach area. And what is nice about the coaster ( train ) is the restrooms are clean. And the fact that you are allowed to bring food and drinks on board. It really is a nice cheap ride,and great view of the ocean as you chug along.

Love the video for the simple fact that you gave love to Mission Beach. I normally see people rave about Pacific Beach and think Mission beach is the best beach in the country for the fact that it's laid back but you can still have fun at Belmont park and get a drink or food at local bars and restaurants while relaxing on the beach or hanging out at one of the bonfire pits. I'll be moving back next month but sucks that I won't be living in the Marina District this time as I did a few years ago.

My favorite place is the Dubliner Pub in the Gaslamp. It's a beautiful Irish Pub on 4th st. This video shows exactly why I dont want to be stationed anywhere else in the world. I love San Diego as my second home. Fun fact you can thank the nave for making the Solver Strand. All the terra firma that went into creating it was dredged up from making the Naval bases

We just went to La Jolla about a moth ago. In La Jolla there is a place called Mount Soledad that overlooks all of the city and the ocean. Trust me, look it up. It is beautiful

Uhhhhh 1. Charley's Best Bread in Pacific Beach 2. Fish Shop in Pacific Beach 3. The French Gourmet in North Pacific Beach 4. Kate Sessions Park 5. The little known bird sanctuary by the bay near Crown Point Park 6. Basically everything in PB, except the pbdb's (pacific beach douch bags), and the constant drinking. Nature is the best!
