I live in Thunder Bay and this was hilarious, not only the mispronunciations but pictures of other places. I wish Lake Superior had a beach like that but it is not tropical here. We don't have parrots either. Our downtown looks nothing like Toronto and the CN Tower is not here either. And that ancient Roman amphitheatre! Come on, really? What a farce! uts

I live in Thunder Bay & have for over 40 years! This video is informative but some of the information, is totally incorrect & or untrue! #1 we don't have any parrots flying around in NWO, its like 12 degrees over night in the summer & they would freeze their beautiful feathers off! Whomever made this video, has obviously never even been to Thunder Bay & just making random video's, they couldn't even pronounce my city's places properly, which was at least amusing!!! We also have one of the top crime rates in Canada & thats for a population of just over 100K, we have robberies every night + assaults We have a lot of homeless people & a drug epidemic going on. Still wanna come visit us now? Do better research, you could be setting people us to get mugged here. We even have a problem with crooked cops here also! Our city council sucks too & they spend money giving them selves raises, while our street roads aren't even fit, to ride a motorbike!!!--->facts people just facts!😉

Was I in the same place? I was in a derelict sh*t pit in the middle of bum fu*k nowhere! People wandering into the road as if they wanted to be hit. I saw an island in the lake that looked like a mountain and nothing like a giant. After 2 days everyone wanted to leave as none of the tourist attractions were open or just not interesting. And who is pocketing the money alloted for your roads? Same holes ... just bigger than they were when we drove through 5 years previous. I guess if you like isolation and potholes then this is your go to place.

Thunder Bay is just like any other. Get ready to be a defensive driver, as you might get cut off while driving. Or run into a barricaded road where there has been a murder. Most of the amazing views are in a few places in the city, but find most activities heading east. And while your driving Hwy 11-17 you might see a Tractor-trailer in the ditch. 😅

I think it's what you make it. I live downtown Toronto. It's just gotten way to busy, days fly by in the constant rush. I've been searching for a place where I can slow down and enjoy my family more. I've lived many places in Canada. Kenora being the closet to tbay. How old are you, what do you do for work? Is crime that bad? I see lots go on down here for the last 20 years nothing surprises me. Iam used to seeing drugged out zombies littered in the streets. Tbay sounds amazing, 4 wheeling, fishing, camping, hiking, biking. I also love mechanics and enjoy building and driving my cars. Crime is everywhere and has gotten alot worse here.
