Well, in all honesty, the Elixir of Life keeps you alive, not young. So, I think that was the right way for them to do it. Now, McGonagall is another story entirely. If you want some, even if very forced explanation, go check Carlin Brothers' video about it. Like, they really found a way to fill that plow hole up, no matter how dumb and unnecessary it was. Well interestingly I'm not 100% sure but in one of the featurettes ( and maybe a tv spot) there's a brief scene with theseus in the front with another man with their wands up and there's a woman behind them with a scarf or something covering her hair and it looks a bit like queenie (same colour hair as well) someone saw it on twitter so she possibly went back to the good side again at some point maybe

Actually there's only 2 things to remember. 1. Johnny Depp was unfairly fired by Warner Bros, who made the movie, while they have kept Amber Heard, even though she is far more toxic. 2. Ezra Miller has attacked several people, was arrested, and currently has a restraining order against him.

@@horrorripples3332 it’s all about not going back on their actions with Amber. Johnny was believed to have abuse his wife. One of the most hated actions anyone can do in the publics eye so they kicked him to appease the amasses. When it turns out the roles were reversed they couldn’t look dumb and had already invested in firing him and keeping her. So either they can’t go back on casting changes so suddenly, especially with him already recast for fantastic beasts or they don’t want to hurt their imagine by going back on major decisions. Probably a mix of both.

@@horrorripples3332 as for Ezra the issue is it’s not a personal or home related violence. It’s strangers on the street and as a celebrity you can always expect people to instigate or harass you. The problem is Ezra clearly has his demons that don’t let him handle it properly so he lashes out. Since he’s essentially their main character for their DC movies in the future with flashpoint being their multiverse of madness it’s really their only chance to get their superhero franchise to start being as successful as Marvel. Their grasping at straws and won’t let go of their strongest opportunity for success.

I feel like that FB movies don't put enough wight on the Avada spell. Like in HP even Voldemort had to say the spell and it was always a ''moment'' in the way the movie showed the spell being used. But in FB you have Aurors and other witches and wizards just slinging the spell like it's Wigardium or something and I feel it that takes away the ''magic'' in the movies

It was also the case in HP series. In 'Order of the Phoenix' during the battle where Sirius Black died they were casting spells without articulating or saying it out loud the same is true on 'Deathly Hallows Pt.2' the battle in Hogwarts. I think when they need to cast fast they still say the words but they just whisper or mutter it to be quick.

I read that they were going with the fact that since other actors played him like in hp 7 and Johnny Depp and that actor don't resemble each other, it could all be down to his trying to not stand out so much amongst muggles. and they just ignored it. his different eye colors are not so noticeable but still visible. not much is being said about it because Warner brothers did not take him back on for the project which they should have but I think his replacement will do well!

The REAL 10 things to remember Before Seeing The Secrets of Dumbledore: 1. This isn't the old HP stuff. Don't expect to be entertained in any way or form. 2. This isn't the old JKR style writing. Don't expect any coherence or linearity in the plot. 3. Grindelwald character design (not just actor. Character design.) does a 180 here. Look it up because you will NOT recognize the character. No, the movie will NOT do anything to justify the sudden change in dress, appearance, mannerism, hairdo, behavior - see #2. 4. Showing Germans in an insultive way is OK because they're Germans. 5. Your Monster drink (because you DO want to stay awake for this, you DID pay the price of admission).

I'm assuming that we're not including a certain moon sized weapon that can glass anything from a city to a planet here? On the ground, I think on the whole the wizarding world actually has a huge advantage. The Imperial Navy has the orbital bombardment option, but assuming they were trying to take the planet rather than destroy it, bombardments would be limited. Of course I've never heard of wizards trying to cast spells on space-based objects. I'd be more interested on how the OP wizards (light and dark) would fare against force-wielders.

there's no dating phase. they had spend some time together as friends in Godric's hollow when Gellert came to stay at his great aunt''Bathilda Bagshot's home...and in that short period of time lot of things happened..it only went from bad to worse. and when Gellert Grindelwald n Albus Dumbledore became friends, albus alrdy had completed his studies at hogwarts..so they dint even had much time spend with each other..i believe it was only for few months. though i have forgotten for how long. it had been long time since i had read the deathly hallows.

Both fantastic beasts movies have Truly captured the essence and feeling of being in the Wizarding world especially [and ironically surprisingly] more than David Yates’ harry potter movies. Indeed, I cannot believe how it’s actually possible for the same Director who gave us the worst harry potter movies actually gave us the leagues better fantastic beasts movies, let alone the fact of whether you agree or not, the fantastic beasts movies just feel and seem like they were made with more and better passion and effort, as if David Yates actually wants to make them out of passion and genuine interest as opposed to his other movies seemingly only being made for a paycheque/just trying to find the most efficient way of doing them/ the movies Just overall having this “let’s just get this over with” attitude. I mean, the fantastic beasts movies do not have the horribly abysmal colouring and lighting that the David Yates harry potter movies have, even though they are still of course dark but at least you can actually see let alone actually care about what’s going on. As well, they have a lot more nuance with their filmmaking and just do a better job of capturing the emotion and connection and relationship between the characters without either over or under doing it or making it overly complicated. As noted before when you watch them it just feels and seems like they’re having a lot more fun with it when regardless of what was in the script, as in the half blood Prince movie it was literally David Yates, Not originally the Script’s idea for the bridge scene, and even though the scene is decent in the movie, it still doesn’t feel like it was fully realize what it could’ve been, unlike literally everything that was in the fantastic beasts movies only suffering if any at all from the material that he was given. Again why couldn’t he have fully realized and made the scene more engaging in better with half blood Prince even though of course it was long before fantastic beasts? Same with the Sirius Black and Bellatrix dual in order of the Phoenix which he has stated that he apparently “understands“ why people are supposedly upset with the duel being cut short when it was in fact filmed [An even featured a bit in a teaser trailer and then some prominently released B roll footage], And would not of interrupted The overall pacing and flow all that much, When they were even other scenes they could’ve cut out to help with that

SO DARK HEARTED!!!! I'm all for a great movie and kids learning about life as they grow BUT this movie is so dark hearted and just NOT NECCESSARY FOR KIDS TO HAVE IN THEIR GORGEOUS BRIGHT MINDS. ....What happened to giving kids something good to watch, especially the young ones. As a parent I would never wish my kids to fill their awesome heads with the visuals of something dark, even if it is fantasy. !!!....As for adults and someone who quite enjoyed the Harry Potter series, I would genuinely say save your money and 2.5 hrs of time with this movie. Very underwhelming, such a shame..........:)

Fantastic Beasts was a lie, it annoys me that the first film went so dark and was supposed to be about finding beasts. They should have set the films during Newts time at Hogwarts (which we see glimpses of in Crimes of Grindwald) discovering new beasts and then show him as an adult finding more and eventually writing the book. This current line of films are good but shouldn’t still have fantastic on the title card (that should have been dropped after the first film) and just call them Wizarding World: the crimes of grindlwald / secrets of Dumbledor But I guess these films are for the Adult fans who grew up with the book. They should make a cartoon or live action kids show about Hogwarts in the 1700s or Eivermore maybe
