The hands explanation: People with dementia have issues with their gait and balance. There are 4 gross motor hallmarks that neurologists look for when diagnosing dementia: A short gait (short steps), a shuffling gait, lack of the natural back-swinging arm motion (arms move a little but stay out in front of the body), and a slightly forward leaning head (head slightly forward of the hips) And Joe Biden clearly has ALL of these. It looks so awkward because it’s very different from the natural gait we are used to seeing everyone using. It looks weird because it IS.

as an RN since 1994 who worked on a med/surg floor with many, many people suffering from various cognitive issues such as dementia, Alzheimer's and organic brain syndrome is this. looks to me like Alzheimer's. the dead giveaway was when Biden would become agitated when his memory failed him and that could be seen in his micro facial expressions. looked like he wanted to throttle Trump . these type of outbursts are very common with Alzheimer's patients. that along with short term memory loss. his pallor was as close to death as I have ever seen on a living person. he might have Parkinson's too because the meds for that turn you into a human statue. someone call the authorities on Jill for ELDER ABUSE.

I’m with you on the subtle observations not many lay persons would be able to identify. It’s easy to follow MSM talking points but to have the lived experience to have cared for these patients lends to a deeper understanding of the signs. I’ve been a RN since 2009 and a NP since 2020. Was a CNA starting in 2001, at that time working in dementia units for an agency. I practice in emergency medicine now but my background was geriatrics. Your observations are spot on. The day after the debate this lady called me to complain about Blue Cross Blue Shield and she said Medicare was investigating them anyway. It was so sad. I had a grandfather with Alzheimer's and my father has dementia. I know what it looks like. Whoever is keeping him out there when he should be retired should be in court. Not saying he is without blame - the man is a criminal. The world laughs at us as we crumble from within. New subscriber.
