I love it how some plants like the potato and the eggplant were fully grown, ready to harvest if not withered already after three months, while the avocado after three months FINALLY started growing above the earth. I planted an avocado in earth not water and I thought that I lost it and it will never grow because it took SO LONG until it finally opened up and started growing. Meanwhile other seeds start sprouting within one to three days already, it‘s so impressive.

@oceanlightbabymar35012 жыл бұрын
@@TH-kd1ju the dragonfruit plant is quite large, as in length and spread if left to do its own thing. In commercial ventures it's my understanding it gets prunned and kept in check to focus on producing fruit, it's grow in tidy rows (you can find vids here in YT methinks). And yes, it is a type of cactus. It needs a very sturdy structure to grow over. If you allow it to grow against and on a tree, it'll eventually smother and kill it by sheer suze and weight (it'll dry the tree up). Pitahayas (dragonfruit) produce a large pink fruit with white flesh and tiny seeds. There are almost countless variatios with different color flesh and skin nowadays. In certain parts of the world, they become a thing of fashion in gardening and are quite expensive.
