Genuinely curious, so I've wondered about this and searching online has online has only informed me that even Jewish people don't seem to be in agreement on this, so as a half black Jewish person I thought maybe you would have a genuinely unique take on this. Is being Jewish really considered a race, since people of any color can be Jewish but because there are genetic markers that can be seen in DNA that can show someone's Jewish heritage is it more complicated than simply yes it is or no it is just a religion.

@@L33tSkE3t Eh, I'll take you seriously and actually answer. It's more complicated. It's both a people and a religion. The religion is based on the beliefs held by that group of people, but eventually the Jewish religion started allowing people who weren't from Jewish tribes to join because it's a religion and it's based on beliefs. So some people are descendants from the Jewish tribes, and may not be Jewish religiously. Some people may belong to the Jewish religion, but have basically nothing to do with the Jewish people. Some are Jewish both by ancestry and faith. So basically, it's two meanings of the same word, where sometimes they coincide and sometimes they don't.

for those people that are ACTUALLY confused about the embassy bit. - history time. if not. keep scrolling. - So. in 1995, there was a solidify backing of the US embassy on the border of West Bank and Israel. the deadline to move it was in 1999. The planning was long, and when the go-ahead was to move it, it was denied by The Clinton, Bush, and Obama administrations due to escalation of the Saudi and Islamic situations. Rising tensions means, the not moving the embassy sees those who are not primarily Jewish, as people, they exist, they can be heard. As at the time, alot of what didnt like Israel had West bank. And Israel offered West Bank to them in 1967 as a non-annexed region after the 6-day war. and remained under Israeli military control till 1982. So. Israel knew what the US was doing, they didnt mind it. they really didnt. to help deescalate the region, it was a great idea. ... so then Trump comes stomping along, be like 'yes, support the jews, i need more voters'. then signs off the move of the embassy. completely escalating the middle east. Lets not forget that Isis is still a thing. wile Israeli nationals cheered. The West Bank was PISSED to longer be recognized as a country. what came of this? the Saudis raised oil prices. The Kurds kinda got pissed (but still fought alongside us till trump pulled out, leaving them for a literal massacre by Turkish forces in forward gunfights)

@@scr3am273 Arabs don't like Israelis. That's the long and short of it. Kurds are an ethnic group from the geo-cultural region Kurdistan in the middle east. Arabs also don't like them, and as a result, just like the Israelis, the Kurds have been locked in a violent conflict with various extremist groups (as well as endured tense political strife with the surrounding nations) for decades. It's obviously a much more nuanced issue than that, but there's a synopsis that underlies the matter for you.

I think Steve was kinda being a snowflake with the girl that implied that black people dance better than white people. That's a relatively innocent stereotype to be fair and it's something black people are known for statistically speaking. You can't even tell if it's being racist against white or black people. It's not like anyone is getting offended at pointing out a skill that race is known for. Every race has their own stereotypes of occupation or skills as a predominant trait. It's only racist if you're implying that is all they are good at, which I don't think happened in this circumstance.
