It’s so funny that I now work at a school & I started watching this around the same time as starting that job! It’s definitely spot on w/ how teachers are & I love how I can draw parallels from this to my own life (even tho I’m currently a volunteer reading tutor). So hilarious & heartfelt I love it! ☺️

I liked when the teachers were arguing about who should get basketball tickets, Barbara made herself like the most important teacher. Melissa clapped back saying yous only teach 5 year olds to use safety scissors and Barbara clapped back that her kindergarten teacher didn’t do a good job since yous isn’t plural for you.

I really adore this show. I also work in education, so many of the situations have either happened to me or my coworkers. In addition, Barbara reminds me fondly of one of my former coworkers, especially given the sporadic celebrity mix ups! 😹

Shirley Ralphs character from Abbot Elementary is one hell of a teacher! But also Her character a little bit reminds me of my sister-in-law my nieces mother who passed away in 2019 her mother was a teacher for almost 30 years in the Mississippi school system now see you anywhere! Some of the things that her character Barbara talks about is kind of similar to my nieces mother so like I said her mother was a teacher for over 30 years experience but she went back and started substitute teaching for almost 4 years before her diagnosis of cancer! Like I said the character Barbara minds me of my sister-in-law and this is a ordinary sitcom comedy show that gives us a downside of what teachers go through and I’m hoping this show make parents appreciate the teachers that is teaching their children!

I have to admit I wasn't impressed with this show at first, but I powered through it and ended up loving it! Also being from Southern NJ, I grew up right across the river from Philadelphia and enjoy seeing all the mentions of Philly and its culture! 🔔
