@ first off Kissing is still cheating, second as you can clearly see in the video LUCAS pulled Peyton in for the kiss. he kissed her first and since Peyton already confessed that she never stopped loving him of course she was going to kiss him back. the only reason he even proposed to Lindsey was because he was trying to forget that he still loved Peyton. plus he was mad at Peyton for that entire conversation they had before the kiss.

I kinda don’t agree with the whole Brooke and Rachel thing. Rachel only wanted Lucas because she knew it’d piss off Brooke; and she didn’t have feelings for him. Some of the numbers on this list is exaggerated. Lucas meant well by moving out of town and also by moving in with Dan. Brooke was the one to suggest that he goes on a date with Rachel and he kept his intentions with her completely clear. I wouldn't call that "using" her. That said, Peyton needs a list too. She was so terrible to Lucas in season 1. She mocked him constantly and almost got him killed by running redlights. I just never understood why he liked Peyton so much. Peyton was equally as awful in season 5. She was unnecessarily mean to Lindsay when she wasn't crying behind Lucas. It was unbearable.

Being a flawed character doesn’t make one “the worst” I couldn’t stand Lucas sometimes and wanted to smack some senses into him on several different occasions but same goes for a lot of the other characters. That’s kind of how character development works. If Lucas remained the good kid who always hangs out with Haley or at the river court playing street basketball without any girl or family drama then he would be a stale ass character who bored everyone to death. He has to make mistakes and learn from them to have substance as a character. Same goes for Nathan he had the fastest character development and changed for the better within the first season but if he remained a flawless character he wouldn’t be interesting to watch. That’s why he made several mistakes involving his marriage or basketball or his relationship with his parents... Lucas’ mistakes seems to stand out to people more because it’s always involving his relationships. He was indecisive and despite being in love with Peyton he was way too dense to realize his own feelings so he kept hurting others in the process. He wasn’t manipulative or calculating, he was just a hopeless romantic idiot kind of like Ted Mosby from How I Met Your Mother.

Lets see 10 reasons why he the best people forget all the great things he did. Lucas saved Dan from the fire when he couldve let him die. He ran back into the school knowing there was a school shooter inside to save Peyton. He pulled Nathan out of a burning car and saved his life. I can’t take this Lucas hate. Every character did bad things, and you could make the same list for any one of the main characters. Nathan, for one, the way he treated Lucas in the first seven episodes, trashing the river court, constantly making remarks about him being a mistake, and getting with Haley at first to mess with Lucas, how he acted towards his family after he was paralyzed. And then Haley, cheating on Nathan and then leaving him, and being really selfish after her mother’s death (yelling at jamie, shutting everyone out). And then for Brooke, everything she pulled at the booster party in season 1 (with Haley’s letter, and trying to force Peyton and nathan back together so she could have lucas), lying to Lucas’ face about being pregnant right after getting the call that she wasn’t, sleeping with Chris, going with Lucas to the banquet in s4 just to get back at Peyton (while not even considering Lucas’ feelings too) and most of all, completely thrashing Peyton for what she did with Lucas while knowing fully she had slept with Nathan during his on-and-off relationship with Peyton. And then Peyton, initiating all those kisses with Lucas when he was with someone else (in the motel, in the library, at tric). Also, all of the countless times she hurt Lucas. My point is every character has their flaws and the only reason you can point out more with Lucas is solely because he is the main character and everything revolves around him. Lol I love this list. Lucas might have been the heart of the show, but he did some really messed up things, repeatedly, over the years. The worst part about it was how he'd then act so self righteous whenever Nathan made a mistake, yet he couldn't face those mistakes in himself. Yes he just found out Dan killed Keith but that wasn't going to change. Ms. Katherine Nathan was an asshole for the first 3 seasons. Lucas, outside of his romantic relationships, was also a great guy. An amazing uncle to Jamie while Nathan was being a little bitch. He gave up his dream school to move in with Haley and Nathan and help them with Jamie. He saved Nathan’s life multiple times, shaved points for Nathan, saved Peyton from a psycho, helped Brooke with baby Angie, and stood by Haley even though she did terrible things. Lucas was an amazing friend and brother. Just a crappy boyfriend
