Some great tips for the new players, I really like doing starting from scratch with no money and working the contracts to earn it, I feel that when I buy my farm/land/tractors I've earned them. However ONE tip I would give for contracts, if borrowing the items, be careful -- e.g. harvesting a small field will cost you more in the borrowing of the items than you get rewarded for it... However your tip on contracts doing borrow, on one, then accept on 2 & 3 offsets this a bit. Welcome to all the new players.

good point - I've seen a bale wrapping contract with a pay out of $360 and a cost to borrow equipment of $400!

Great tips and definitely agree with the play your way message. However I'm trying to work out what the popup text at 10:28 was supposed to mean. Seems like some kind of secret message with a hidden meaning... 😂

it seems a few people ever talk about land buying and selling at same price. Buy the land, harvest, sell the land, free crops. And you dont need to worry about plowing cultivating and stuff, because the AIs will do for you. You never get 100% yield tho, but free crop is free crop, not going to complain.

Some people consider it cheating and not really what would happen IRL on a farm, regardless though, if you just want to have fun and harvest some crops and make some money then do whatever works for you

@@ArgsyGaming Agree, I think it's cheating, so I personally don't do it, however I don't care if other do, you do you etc. Though I do wish giants would put in an option for MP reasons, e.g. have to keep land for 1 year before selling.

When it comes to mods, the only one I use is the Store Delivery mod. Hate going back and forth from the store.

I can't wait to get Store Deliveries into game - can use the teleport function in the console commands, but not as easy as store deliveries
