I'm going to keep this comment pinned to the top to discuss changes with future Tradelands Updates. 5/7/20 - Dart got a massive buff, Dart is now arguably better than Taipan, perhaps the Marauder too. - Alliance and Astra have a lot more health, also the new cannon mechanics make the bigger ships better - Orca has become comparable to a shark, although orca is slower. - Prometheus also had a health increase, making it more viable.

The Poseidon is supposed to be used as a ship when you don't have a big crew. It's strength is basically not being able to stern lock. I think it should have more hull strength, since it has an iron hull. However, it still has less health than an atlas. Especially after the atlas had a hull strength buff

fun fact: titan is the best ship and has unlimited health, you are vulnerable to any enemy damage and you can carry cargo without any limitations and you can kill ironclads by simply ram them

I hate marauder cuz pirates often use marauder to raid other trade boat but luckily I use Orca cuz orca is overpowered at the broad side cuz we could place lot of cannons and if we filled all the cannons with crew Orca will become a beast cuz our enemies will take lot of damage or maybe sunk,and also we could place a cannon at the front so we could also chase our enemies if they're trying to ran away but orca have a weakness and its a blind spot cuz we couldn't place any cannons at the back so our enemies could shoot us from the back,but I really recommended y'all to have Orca cuz if your a Roleplayer or a raider Orca is perfect too! cya i hope y'all read this.

I just bought kraken voucher and I'm saving mats for it. This video made me regret my life lol but the distant shores update made every ship faster and I've seen 3 krakens in 3 years, 2 of them yesterday. I'll still get it cuz I like it,it's rare, and is junk rigged, and vouchers can always be removed

I am saving for the dragon. I already have the iron needed for it, but I plan to buy the steam engine parts, so that'll be pricey Edit: It has 10 sail speed and 7 engine speed so the only thing that will have a chance to catch you when going upwind is the Ceres as it also has 7 engine speed, but unless you turn to one side they won't catch you

I think you are forgetting that the Serpent and the Kraken have Junk-Rigged sails, which makes them faster than any ship in the game downwind.

The dragon with a proper crew and captain can be a really good support for example a phoenix and a dragon can start doing awesome formations when the Phoenix is low or it's been stern locked and dragon can come with its 2 36 pounder long guns or carros(I prefer long guns) can help a ton with its support it can out speed other ships or be bait or if it wants to run you just go against the wind and turn on da coal eater

Yeah... I was angry that Narh Updated the game today... I don't think the list is obsolete at all though. I'm not convinced that there's any game-changing difference because the update buffed most of these ships the same amount, therefore the bonus is neutral. The exceptions being the Astra and Alliance. But this assumption may change.
