After getting 2 animated toys, being a deluxe Optimus and a deluxe Jazz without the exhaust nunchucks for cheap, and it solidifies my will that I will not end collecting until I get Shockwave. This toyline has something I couldn’t get from any other TF line, and I’m excited to dip my toes into it. Great video, btw.

Thank you! Animated is a toyline with so many gems, and a lot of them have almost fallen through the cracks over the years. Shockwave is a hard one to come by, but I hope you find him. Oil Slick gets a massive recommendation from me.

I grew up in that era, and collecting Transformers today will never be like how it was back then. The stores I bought from have all closed down, but the memories are vivid. I see myself picking Cybertron Hot-shot off the shelf, and I could feel this sense of settling when I got the Supercon Optimus instead of the one with the electronics. Thanks for this video and for the feelings it evoked.

You know, I’ve never thought about it, but Animated Shockwave actually scales really well with 3-3/4” figures. It helps that everyone in Animated was scaled down compared to other continuities.

I've been a Transformers fan since the 80's so G1 designs and characters will always be my favourite but since I got Cybertron Leader Optimus Prime three months ago and some others from Cybertron along with Energon Megatron I can say with absolute certainty the best Transformers toys were the ones released between 2000 and 2010

I really NEED a Crumplezone! I'm trying to build the Star Raiders and he's part of the crew. You know, I think i have 07 Cliffjumper still sealed in package. I remember getting him but thinking, "I already have Bumblebee open, this is just the same, but red. On the wall he goes!" And TO THIS DAY I have never opened him!

Completly unrelated, here's my top five Transformers I own: 5-Tiptop (If I will ever get Needlenose, he will become along side his other purple target master friend, some nice nullrays) 4-Heater (I like him more) 3-Shard (I lost one of her/his swords. Pain) 2-86 Bumblebee (I despise Bumblebee, but atleast his fun) 1- Quake (He is my 2007 Cliffjumper)
