Special Ops: Lioness is probably the most ridiculous of all. CIA Agent: Let's run this black ops on American soil. Also CIA Agent: I need to take care of my daughter and constantly calls home during the black op.

You find it ridiculous, but people with that actual backstory find it pretty accurate. It’s like all those people that see what actual hacking looks like and complains that it looks fake, because all they know is what tv hacking looks like, not actual real world hacking. I had 2 ex FBI agents as professors, I assure you, Lioness was pretty accurate.

@@FMD023 You seem bothered 😂🤣 no, I don’t find that ONE SINGLE scene in a fictional tv show accurate, the overall show I find more accurate than most and I believe former FBI field agents. I’m sure in your little mind, you know best though. If a single scene in an entire season is what you’re losing your mind over, then maybe fictional shows are not for you, because the majority of the other shows on this list are highly inaccurate.

i served in Afghanistan for years. the plot, theme of homeland was solid. yes "could" of happened. well acted. the Prozac queen after season 2 lost me. yes, agency's have them but not so open and flagrant. sorry, too many yelling sessions and nervous breakdowns and still gets a paycheck and on missions? does not occur. (Except in the biden WH..). and not it is not "just" TV. it got obnoxious.

So many things to be said. Taken , was an awesome show. I can't believe a streaming service didn't pick that up. I don't care how real it was, it was entertaining and I liked the characters. When they disbanded the team in season 1 I was very upset. They adapted , added 2 new characters and get canceled. Kilroy would have kept that show alive. Look at NCIS LA , a lot of it was LL Cool J, but what drove that show was Eric & Nell + Hetty seen or unseen. Point being, the computer genius comedic relief is something I noticed. They could have at least done 5 seasons if they didn't get shafted.

I feel like modern CIA related movies are comically woke just to make us completely lose interest in anything related to Intelligence agencies...Just put an annoying woman who is an emotional wreckfest to do a job that requires extremely sharp pragmatic and logical skills as a protagonist on multiple movies and series and BAM, you just made everyone hate CIA, NSA, DOD movies, series or anything related. It's a very successful Psyops if I've ever seen one.
