Great list Austin! I tried the same as you and excluded miniseries like Chernobyl. Making this list was hard, but this is probably my top ten: 1. Breaking Bad (from beginning through end, this show is captivating, amazing tv and it sticked the landing) 2. Game of Thrones (even with S8 being disappointing, I will never forget how this show made me feel) 3. Sherlock (Modern update to these classic stories, a little flawed, but amazing nonetheless) 4. Peaky Blinders (Acting, drama, this is quality content and my favorite currently ongoing series) 5. Avatar: The Last Airbender (The most adult show I've seen aimed at kids, holds up so well) 6. The Spectacular Spider-Man (still the best incarnation of the character on both tv and film, change my mind) 7. Daredevil (the Dark Knight/Logan of superheroes but on tv) 8. Stranger Things (great characters and a good blend of mysterie, humor, horror and nostalgia) 9. Dragon Ball Z (nostalgic, still watch it and love it, preferably the Kai version with better pacing and no filler) 10. That 70's Show (my Office pretty much, watched this show at least 5 times)

If you haven't already, I recommend Dark on Netflix. It's one of those shows you have to watch VERY carefully because there are so many characters and the plot is complex, but shit... this show is just absolutely INCREDIBLE. Absolutely top-notch writing and a brilliantly intricate plot. It's a straight up crime how few people know about this show, but it seems to be gaining traction! Hope it becomes the next big thing!

The writing, acting, directing, cinematography, sound design, etc. 3. Hey Austin I think you should give one of these shows a try which could easily replace some in your top 10 in no order; 1. Fargo (FX) especially season 2 which I think is one of the best things I’ve ever seen on tv 2. The Leftovers (HBO) this show is phenomenal 3. Better Call Saul ( AMC) I personally think it’s slightly better than breaking bad so far. It’s a very slow burn though 4. Peaky Blinders at least deserves to be in honourable mentions 5. Barry (HBO) it’s new but it’s already one of my favourites at the moment 6. True Detective Season 1 7. Attack on Titan. ( This deserves to be regarded as a show not even an anime only, lol) All these shows mentioned along with Breaking Bad, Mindhunter, Rick and Morty/ Daredevil would be in my top 11 list

Okay I like all the shows you put on your list and yes Breaking Bad would be my #1 too, but I think you should definitely try to get into shows that aren't just American or Popular British. Twin Peaks and Twin Peaks The Return i have to recommend (its American but considered one of the best in the history of TV). Dekalog (polish tv show) will blow your fucking mind. Death Note (the only Anime I really got into) is absolutely incredible and addicting. They got good stuff all around the world, I highly suggest them!

Battlestar Galactica is my favorite tv show of all time. if you haven't seen the newer version of this show from 2004, you need to check it out. Make sure to watch the 3 hour mini series that sets up the story before starting season 1. The show takes off right from episode 1, and it's one hell of a roller coaster.

Fantastic list, Austin! I don't watch a ton of TV, but here's my Top 5: 1. The Office 2. Avatar: the Last Airbender 3. Mad Men 4. Breaking Bad 5. Stranger Things Honorable mentions - Better Call Saul (just finished season 2 so I'm not up to date, but I love it), Game of Thrones (everything except the last two seasons, what a huge disappointment), Mystery Science Theater 3000 (Seasons 2-5), Dexter (seasons 1-4 are some of the most addictive TV I've ever watched, but like GoT, the writing fell off and the last couple of seasons kind of ruined it for me) Need to watch: Sopranos, The Wire, more Parks and Rec (I've only seen Season 1)
