The best knives for land combat are made by Extrema Ratio, Fox Knives, Eickhorn, Hill Knives Holland, Samuel Staniforth, Wildsteer, and Böker. For other operators, MAC, TB-Outdoor, and Avanona, are noteworthy. As I see it, only the symmetrical daggers matter.

@@Mornomgir Böker has a wide range of knifes. They start very cheap with the Magnum series. There are some okay knifes in the Magnum line, but most are just cheap and easy. Winkler knives is the most used knife by the S.O. community. Microtech is a very close second. K-BAR used to be the standard. Now i have heard a SEAL say,... that served with DJ Shipley on Team 6,....that Spartan blades were being used by many of them hard use and breaching. Funny how none of those were mentioned here.

This inadequate list must be for average low income folks that can't afford a $400 Winkler blade lol. But yes, Winklers are used by the most elite SOF teams. Even Kevin Holland (who is the only special operations solider to serve in both Seal Team 6 and Delta Force) uses Winklers and highly recommends them. The 80CRV2 steel used in Winklers is very easy to sharpen has great edge retention and is almost as chip resistant as CPM 3V steel.

Mtech? Are you serious on this pick. That is no way a competent military Tactical knife. 440 steel? 440 what? A, B, C? That nylon sheath is just that, nylon with nothing inside to prevent it from folding or the knife going right through the side into your leg. There are too many better knives to include on this list than Mtech. Cold Steel SRK for one. The Gerber is a good knife but at the end you showed two different Gerber knives; the gator and the Gerber Mark II. Keep with one knife. A folding knife has no place in this list.
@BigDaddySwingingMeat Жыл бұрын
Yep, most MTech blades are wall hangers. The only decent blade I have seen from them was the MTech pig sticker tactical knife which was a rip off of the Mossy Oak spear point pig sticker. It holds an edge and has an extremely deadly design.

@solomonmarcus54962 жыл бұрын
Totally subjective, I own Al Mar knives and many other as no one knife can do everything kind of like firearms. So unless your comparing the Randall knife to other high & low quality knives your statement is purely a subjective opinion. Just because there's a 5 year waiting list doesn't make is the best knife. Some knives are sold by volume & thousands are made and some are sold I just hundreds as in the case of some of the AL Mar knives I own. Even some of the "Chinese made" knives hold up well i.e. m tech xtreme line. Randall knives are more of a collector driven based knife by all accounts.
