To be honest the team wasn't dead, it just happens the entire team had stupid restrictions lmao. Like Baby got an eza which required a saiyan enemy in a meta without saiyans. 17 had a bad condition and required a super class enemy Frieza and Cell had most of their kit behind stuff like stat lowering and stunning in a meta where you can't do that.

These are almost universally useless as the only fights you can reliably use those effects are either so easy you don't need them or on the last few phases of a long and ultra difficult fight where bringing those units is pointless and a hazard.

Let’s be real tho the worst part about Shenron being locked behind the Gt boss wall is the fact that they gave him fucking HEAT OST’s. That was the only reason I wanted to pull for him, I pray that the 10th anni has some GT stuff in it.

0:47 I actually got LR Omega Shenron very recently on the Black Friday Banner when I was trying to get LR Super Gogeta (He was the only 9th anniversary character I was missing). I knew he was bad, but I didn't realise he was heavily focussed on GT Bosses when I tested him out for the first time, on a team that consisted entirely of non GT Bosses. Maybe one day in this game's lifetime we could get an LR Syn Shenron that transforms into Omega Shenron (Provided we don't already have something like that, I haven't been playing Dokkan for that long, only since UR PHY Rose Goku Black came out)?

Like TEQ Piccolo, I used to play Dokkan a long time ago and quit when Transforming AGL Gogeta and PHY Broly were added. I got back into the game in early 2023 and missed quite a lot. Thank you!

Sure, for example TEQ Piccolo was pretty much terrible because his numbers were way too low while not doing anything of particular value. In a meta where most meta units were 250K plus defense post Super he was often starting off with 100k defense while slowly building up to still be very lackluster

STR Super Buu had usable Buuhan and Buuiccolo forms before his EZA (for some time of course, he was trash the day he EZAd), Black was garbage even for long events which came after LGE since he started with 0 DEF. After their EZAs it's not even a comparison, Buu was actually good after his EZA. Black was garbage.

They were the best slot 1 unit in the game and still better than characters like orange piccolo in current fights like super gogeta fight. How many characters can live a turn 1, slot 1, 4 million super that didn't come after 9th anniversary.

@SuperDarkdragon99 plus guard + 50% dodge. 50% of the time, they take zero damage. I don't matter how hard these bosses hit. Dodge doesn't age. Orange piccolo guard for 3 turns + plus 50% dr only after getting hit. Super gogeta boss still one shots him. The blues have 50% to dodge super, and they can tank normals because of guard, but they can dodge that too.

The odds aren't in your favor, but they're not against you its even.You want to dodge supers anyway on every dodge character. The only thing is their active skill condition can be a pain when characters like agl ui goku, int evo vegeta, phy gogeta blue heal up above 70%.

I mean not to pick on the list but it’s missing quite a few units. Raditz is the worst release of all time, teq ss3 Broly not only had a bad release but also a bad eza. I’d argue str hell fighter 17 worse than omega due to the fact that omega team sucked but he himself was very strong where str hellfighter had a laughably bad kit and locked his superior transformation behind the harshest conditions. Lr int cell and lr ss2 gohan were so disappointing on release they deserve a mention as their transformation conditions are some of the worst in Dokkan history. Int goku black on release was good for the toughest content of the time lge he wasnt nearly as bad as the others ive mentioned.

SSJ3 Broly wasn’t trash right away, he became bad after seeing the other 120% EZAs, 17 was terrible and he was an honorable mention but I’d argue a carnival LR being dead is worse than a monthly DFE. 2019 WWDC was badly designed but they were good units. INT Goku Black had a terrible EZAs and was okay for the LGE but he wasn’t by any means dominant there and he was horrendous elsewhere

@ he was way worse than lr super 17 who even if he wasnt great on release still could clear every stage in the game at the time and had 400k defence pre redzone which was very impressive. Literally teq ss3 broly could get to 0 defence and still not hit hard enough to clear an event. His team had terrible links. Int black had a good team and great links. Objectively everyone hated agl super 17 but even pre eza he aged better than almost all 120% mono leads

@@zacarnold2970 He could only do LGE, he was unrunnable for SBR. Also he's a DFE, which means the expectations have to be higher for him. Banner units can afford to be hit and miss, DFEs are the major units who are SUPPOSED to be top tier when they release.

Funny to find this vid. Just completed the Legacy of Goku(Gt edition) challenge 100% and the Gt Bosses team was the last mission i had to do. As you might guess, it took 20 attempts with Lr Omega practically dragging the rest of the team to the end.

TEQ S17 was shit but definitely not the worst release in history. On Target Goku team he'd have close to 300k defense which was extremely good at the time. Also TEQ Piccolo shouldn't be there and if we're counting banner units there are like 10 releses worse than him

I personally dont think the int Androids are that bad, It is because of then that i got my no item run against the TEQ Gogeta boss fight recently using Reps of universe 7, maybe its just a personal preference, but i dont think they are in the same level as this other units that dont do anything for their teams, at least the rainbow orb changing, the support and the scouter gives me a reason to use then as a decent floater option, i personally would have then over PHY turles for example

@PhizerV Their numbers arent bad after the unit super, and they can avoid boss supers with the scouter, but they release at the worst meta possible for them, the most difficult fights at the time were omega Shenron and red zone fused Zamasu, fights with strong aoe damage, and also there was no good TOP Goku to use with them at the time, but they were really good against red zone Goku Black and red zone Zamasu

Yea, the int androids...oof. They were the 1st 200% for U7 and they were easily the worst unit on the team... as the leader. That's harsh. The unit super, while only being a super atk and not a transformation, reminds me of AGL LR Gohan having to have 16 around.

Imma be honest this video is kinda poorly researched Just going through the units in Dokkan I can at least identify like 8 units that deserve to be on this list way more Exchange buu only having 40% with no Defence was *fine* at the time and once you had him at evil and super buu he was a good unit and vital for a lot of missions Rose had incredible value with his defense stacking since lge just came out and he was a premier stacker Hit led the highest dps team at the time it didn’t matter that he didn’t have defense since he could destroy everything with his supreme damage, obviously he aged like milk but on release he was not bad 17&18 where bad on release, but they also released right before the 9th anniversary which massively buffed u7 so their team skyrocketed in viability so they could clear all 9th Anni content with ease Also 17 on 1 is just bad, like raditz is so obviously no.1 it’s a joke considering at the time 17 could do decent damage and tank at least somewhat he’s obviously garbage but not no.1 Idk why nova shenron is on here when there’s dozens of other banner units that are just as equally garbage like teg gohan and krillin who… give the team 15% crit… and that’s it or ice and nova who also did jack for the team while also tanking terribly Teg ssj3 broly not being on here is criminal. He was completely garbage on release with the worst 120% lead Teg super trunks not making the cut is extremely goofy he had the worst condition for his guard and transformation Agl trunks not being on here is also something else to this day he’s the only unit that straight downgrades himself when transforming Plus you could totally just put any heroes unit like berserk blue vegeta on this list they were worse than trash

Exchange Buu got crushed in the ESBR without items so that’s just not true, Rose had value but saying he had “incredible value” for being somewhat runnable in an event that F2P characters with stacking could clear is next level glaze. TEQ Hit was good? LMAO Ok. I play JP and he was never good, once ever in anything remotely challenging ever. If you disagree with 17 whatever, idrc Nouva is just one of a bajillion banner units you can choose I literally say that… TEQ Super Trunks missed the cut but he af least had a good transformation. AGL Trunks was quite solid, definitely top 10, but got powercliffed a couple months after he came out, wasn’t trash on release. I also don’t really like picking on Heroes units, it’s like picking on F2P units, like they’re just not designed to be world breaking

@ aight let’s go through this The lge was actually quite difficult at the time and a ton of units couldn’t handle ui goku so yes, staking characters got immense value because ui would trump almost every other mechanic and rose was the first character specifically designed to beat him so he had a lot of value for people that were struggling with the lge I did say that exchange buu was only *ok* in base but that evil buu and super buu where actually great and they both had a niche especially in ESBR because extreme teg was complete trash back in the day Yeah it makes sense that a jp player would think that Hit would be bad since he was a global first where he was viable on release so your number are just wrong there Also ssj3 broly remains unanswered…

They are restricted to extreme teams, can only fight super enemies in a red zone environment, they have to build up their dodge chance and can only get up to 51% they have one of the worst transformation condition in the game and their transformation only equates to a worse gamma 1 that has to get hit to build up his defense

Hit? Good? He came out when DEF WAS NEEDED and he had 0 DEF at all times. The only way you could afford to run him was with good RNG in SBR, he was usable IF he stunned the enemy who was attacking his slot (if more than one attacked, you were dead anyway). If he didn't (or if the enemy was immune to stuns like in other difficult events), he was dead as soon as he needed to take a hit. His "supreme damage" was maybe enough for dokkan events, nothing more. And he was still taking damage in dokkan events.
