@@vuton7670 I ended up selling mine along with my original Playstation and it was one of the worst decisions I made. I can't afford to get the original PS versions now so it's nice to see them getting a remaster on current consoles

​@@vuton7670 I still have them both but my 3 ps1"s and 2 ps2's are both dead. All of them need new lasers. Can't wait for that collection to drop. Also have suikoden 1+2 for ps1 so those collections will be great to have. Especially for people who don't have the ps1 or never played them bc they are big time expensive for the ps1.

Now this is what im loving the Switch for. Brining back such classic titles back for old and new audiences to enjoy. I have always wanted to play the Lunar series and the first two Suikden series. I'm even more psyched they are bringing Fantasian and Xenoblade Chronicles to Switch, something I thought they would never do for a while. Now they just need to bring some classic PS One games here too. Here's to Brave Fencer Musashi and Legend of Dragoon. ;)

Played Suikoden 1 back in the day and I hope that 1: they level up the guys who aren't in your party (because grinding 100 characters is too much), and 2: they give you a little bit of a recap for where you are in the story in case you have to take a break. Back when I played the original I had to restart the whole game because I took a break and couldn't remember where I was supposed to go next.

I KNOW, I played the original and Lost Age, and originally those two were supposed to just be the opening games into a Huge Adventure which we sorta got the beginnings of in the Golden Sun DS that's name I have forgotten at the moment, but it's like they just forgot about the franchise. Maybe they fell out of partnership with one or more of the other developers?

One problem with some of these games is that some of the "quality of life" changes are changes to the story or designs of the characters to make them "less offensive" to certain people. Don't care too much if some harsh language is fixed, but I hate it when remasters are changed visually or story wise. Based on what a few friends of mine are saying, I wouldn't go near DragonQuest 3 with a ten foot pole, which is sad because I love the series.

@@rilstrup83 then you should search "ARPG" or "Action RPG" as that's exactly what you want. YS series fall under that category "Tales of" series is my best recommendations for ARPG. They blend the RPG element and Action so well the game is very balanced in complexity and difficulty. My other recommendations is "Kingdom hearts". It's probably the closest feel to YS
