I find it an extremely calming scent as well. In fact, one of the most calming vetivers I own is one called Terrarossa from Profumo di Firenze (Enzo Galardi) because it combines ylang ylang with the soapiest vetiver you can imagine. Such a wonderful blend and a shame it's no longer available. Only recently found your channel, but I miss you already Leila!! 💚💚💚 Your insight is invaluable. Thank you for sharing this amazing vetiver fragrances ❤ Vetiver sometimes could be super challenging in some fragrances. My favourite is Elie Saab essence no 6 vetiver. The vetiver in here is quite airy and fresh, a bit citrusy. On me it has that relaxing effect. Wish you a wonderful weekend ❤

I remember Cacharel pour homme, very popular during the late 80's. Nowadays vetiver is not just for men, i bought once in new-Delhi vetiver oil for myself, very nice smell, very modern for a woman

Red Vetiver by Montale isn’t as earthy as Terre D’Hermes. I recently picked up a bottle of it. Great price as well.

Hi Leila. I also enjoy Encre Noir very much. I think the only other vetiver heavy fragrance I have is Guerlain Vetiver (mens) and it is an older version/formulation I picked up at fragrancenet many years back. I imagine it would still smell very nice in the current form. Vetiver is probably in a lot of my woody perfumes but I am not sure I can always pick it out. Thank you! oxJulia
