Glenn absolutely needed to die. You guys are wrong on that. They built his death up for a long time and it was a great introduction to both Negan and the Saviors. It also created the beef between Maggie and Negan which is still happening and it's very interesting. Characters like Carl dying was a mistake, not Glenn.

Thank you! If they could just bring one character back I’d want it to be Beth. Just as she was starting to become an interesting character they kill her off for a cheap ratings bump. Not only would I have liked her to survive the series but I think it would’ve really been interesting if they killed Maggie off shortly after her son was born. I like Maggie but seeing a toughened Beth being super protective of her nephew would’ve just opened up so many possibilities for her character. Another great turning point could’ve been Beth learning the circumstances of Noah’s death and brutally killing Nicholas shortly after Glenn had spared him.
@1kbmahan3 жыл бұрын
Her plan makes next to no sense all she had to do was not do anything but the writing is so stupid she could’ve got a lot of the crew killed when she stabbed the leader of the group and Daryl killed the leader too. They didn't make it come out of nowhere and uncharacteristic of him like they did Carl (seriously? Who gets bit by a single walker anymore at this point). Ultimately, while I disagree that he left the show, the way they handled it was pretty good.

Season 6/Glenn dying is what killed the show. Starting with the dumpster fake out and then having Ricks group turn into the Expendables and kill tons of saviors before Negan even showed up. The saviors were devalued by that point and so was Glenn's character. That awful cliffhanger cheapened Glenn's death even more. In my opinion the top 5 should be: 5-Tyresse (In my opinion he should live just a little bit longer, his death on season six could be epic, in No Way Out, then 3 main characters would die in that episode) 4-Siddiq (Just because Carl died trying to save him, it could be nice to see him growing to become a good doctor and see him die in S11) 3-Jesus (he was an interesting character, Gabriel could had been a great death for the presentation of the whisperers) 2-Andrea (she should had be like her counterpart and died in season 10, during the Beta's attack) 1-Carl (man, he should had live till the end of the show, that's was the main reason to Rick to survive. Morgan shoud had take his part of the arc)

I didn't get to see the atrocious decision to kill Carl cause I was done watching after they killed off Glenn. That was as traumatizing as watching Lee die in the Walking Dead game.
@spicymayo6233 жыл бұрын
That's when I stopped watching as well. I was just pissed off after that. Lol I'll go back and maybe finish it off once it's all over.

They needed to kill Glenn or it wouldn't have been impactful as others. Glad they did it like the comics

I'm not gonna lie, I wish the showrunners would've made there own twist and killed Maggie instead.

Glenn shouldn’t have been killed off. I’d prefer for Dale to have lived, but his death is a turning point for the group and pretty influential, even though it’s kinda sad

Glenn's death made sense because it was a comic book plot device. The decision to kill off Carl was outrageous though. Gimple just went in for shock value on that one. Thankfully Angela Kang has done this past season really well.

Glenn's death was definitely tragic but also inevitable. It's too huge and iconic a moment from the comics not to do. They've also been teasing Glenn's fate around baseball bats since season 5. While I do agree Carl's death was frustrating and pointless, we also probably wouldn't have gotten the awesomeness that is Judith Grimes as she is now.
@deyoungyoung30593 жыл бұрын
No offense but who likes Judith in my opinion Carl is much better
@lombax3163 жыл бұрын
@@deyoungyoung3059 Clearly I like Judith. Much like Carol, she's outlived and developed far beyond her comic counterpart and I like seeing that potential play out. I appreciate that she's far more observant than her age would indicate and has an earnestness that hasn't been worn away by the world. Don't get me wrong, I miss Carl but I also wouldn't want to trade off Judith for him. I'd rather they both be around.

Judith is one of TWDs most unrealistic charakters. She will never be able to replace carl
@lombax3162 жыл бұрын
@@blackwatch2516 Never said she could or should. I also think we left "realistic" behind when we met the likes of the theatrical King Ezekiel with his pet tiger, the pink-coated eccentric Princess, Lucille-swinging monologuing Negan, the sadistic Governor and his walker aquarium, and even katana master Michonne with her pet walkers.
@Dionysus-2073 жыл бұрын
Glenn shouldn't? It was even in the comics, it's better they did it even though it upsetted a lot of people. Carl should be number 1 spot.

I was a die hard fan until Carl's Death! At that moment I washed my hands with this show! Till this day I still get mad at writers for killing him off the show!

Carl should have been number one. His death brought a MASSIVE downfall in viewership. I didn't watch anything after Carl and or seems like it just got worse and worse from the bits and pieces I've seen. Especially keeping Negan around.

Didn't you hear Negan is a fan favorite now, over Daryl, Maggie etc. I still don't like him and never will to be honest.

I know she's underrated, but I felt Jessie Anderson should've made it on this list. She was a really good romantic partner for Rick Grimes, they had good chemistry and she was an amazing character. After a brief relationship with Rick, she was eaten by walkers too soon. I was hoping she'd last longer in the show and dodge her comic counterpart's fate.
@seanrun4228 Жыл бұрын
I was kinda mad too about her death as well. However If Jesse survived. Rick and Michonne wouldn’t have been together. So basically she had no further use in the show unless they wanted to do a bs love triangle thing.
