I was once told if I ever wore a wig I would never be without one. Well, they were right. I now own 3. I’m often asked why I don’t just wear my hair. First I love the fullness which I don’t have with my hair. Second, my hair is thinning. Much stress I’ve been told is a contributing factor. I lost my only son and honestly haven’t been the same. So yes I live with stress everyday. Third, unexpected company. Less than two minutes and I’m good to go. This is the first video I’ve watched of yours and it may sound silly, but you have an honest and friendly first impression to me. So I had to sub to see more. I’m now looking for a taupe colored, shoulder length or a little longer wig with subtle highlights to add to my collection. Hoping you are able to help. 💜🤞🏻

Ro and Dani: I measured my head and came out with 22 1/2”. I Purchased Katie and had to let it out the stretch bands at the back and it fits fine. I will be buying two or three more wigs and should I go with average or should I have to go to large? Thanks, Diane.

Hi Diane, you're right at the top measurement for an average wig - 22 1/2. Large is 23 inches circumference. We cannot say which to get - it's up to you how it fits. Sounds like what you did with Katie was perfect. If a wig comes in average and large sizes, consider trying each and return the one you don't choose for fit. It would be worth getting the perfect fit. If you're happy with Katie and removing the bands, that's great! Each style may take alittle extra tweaking for you, but the way I look at it, it's worth it! I think you're lucky - try a large sometime to see how it feels, but know that you can go average if it's a style that doesn't come in large. xo Ro

A guy here. My wife is just starting out with wigs. Im loving it!!!!! She was hesitant at first but now she is getting the fact that shes super sexy with all the different ones she wears. I explained to her that she is beautiful without them but with them she can change up her look without having to cut or color her real hair and still be beautiful. I love her real hair. Hi ladies. Love your videos. I am 46, peri menopausal, and my hair is getting thin on top and at the front. If the meds the dermatologist prescribed don’t work, wigs will be in my future. I am a planner and have already taken screen shots of my picks from your website. I know that a wig doesn’t last forever regardless of whether it is synthetic or human which leaves me with three questions. 1. If worn two or three times per week, how long would one of your medium length wigs last? 2. What exactly happens to a wig that has reached the end of its lifespan? 3. Hi B. Beth, Rochelle here! So glad you wrote us - I can answer all of your questions right now! 1. How long a wig lasts really depends more on how you care for it, etc. but if you wear a wig once or everyday, the wig will typically last 9 to 12 months. For medium to long hair driving against a fabric seat or in the winter time; wearing nubby fabrics - we suggest more slippery fabrics that the wig rubs against to keep it soft longer. Or, clip it up so it doesn't rub as you drive; constantly looking right and left. 2. How can you tell the lifespan of a wig? Without proper care, the fibers can become dry and dull. Depends on how many wigs you own - I have many, so I'm not wearing any of them everyday. So, my wigs have lasted and not worn out at all! If taken care of, a wig ages very slowly; so slowly that sometimes you get accustomed to it as it gets a little more dry or faded - but using our shampoos, conditioners, also Vivachi to keep the fiber soft as it gets older is a great idea. Remember that our wigs average about $200 each, so if you divide that by the months you'll own it; many clients don't worry at all. When and if the wig starts to feel dry, they replace it. I suggest if you love a particular wig and style - purchase 2 . This way you can keep 1 for dressy and 1 for everyday. 3. In my 23 years of owning GSW, I have never had a cap become dry, stretched or strange in some way...Our wigs are wash and wear, so no heat after washing really helps to keep our wigs looking better longer. HI Margaret, Rochelle here! So happy you like our wigs and great questions! Personally, I might put a bobby pin on each side of the wig at my temples and that is plenty for me. If I'm going to meet people and I'll be hugging or being active, I sew clips into the wig I’ll wear. Thousands of our clients are loving (and me too) our Wig Grip Band! I personally love it because it gives me a little face lift that is noticeable! And, it holds a wig securely on no matter how much hair you have! Hi Jody, Rochelle here! Of course you can do whatever you like! Our information is about helping our client's wigs last a long time. Regular hair (HH hair) has a high content of alcohol - this is why some women's hair gets very dry when spraying all the time. This is why we only sell and recommend our "Low-Alcohol" spray for wigs and even HH - it has less alcohol and higher water content. If you must use yours - spray it on your hands first, then touch the area you want hold on. Hope that helps!

I been thinking about buying a wig because I am having issues with hair loss. I am just scared of buying a wig and it not looking natural. I like the longer darker styles and I have always kept my hair long. Just worried about it looking natural and I seen people having to spray their wigs to glue them to there head and wondering if that would be good for me.

Hi Kelli, I can tell by what you're sharing that your wig isn't one of ours; since you'd be able to coax the part to change. Possibly your wig is a committed part; meaning that you can't change and it's made to go just one way. If you want to try, I'd suggest a teasing brush and a little hair at a time - spritz it with low alcohol hair spray as you tease, then gently push it the way you want. For me, it's more important that the wig looks pretty and realistic more than it parting on the side you part your own hair. Believe me, no one will notice where you part your wig or your hair.
