Favorite place to go in winter is the Colorado rockies/ San juans mountains, super sunny and snowy beautiful mountains rustic historic towns, amazing Christmas lights, skiing, hot tubs, fun brewerys local pubs.

Some of these shots almost make me want to cry, because I always loved winter. However in my city, where I live, there's no longer snow in winter like there used to be, and even if it snows instead of raining, it melts within a day. Hopefully one day I will manage to move out to some of these northern countries..

Awesome stuff Ryan. Great shots and great locations. I have been to a few of those locations(Finland (Rovaniemi and Helsinki), Bavarian Alps(Munich), Prague, Iceland(Skogafoss and Reynisfjara), Norway(Oslo and Bodø) and the Swiss Alps and during winter. I can attest to them being very magical, especially seeing the Northern lights in Bodø, Iceland and Rovaniemi. I love your awesome video. Very underrated channel.

I visited half of these destinations mentioned in the video but you missed one of the most beautiful places during winter is Quebec City and its world Heritage site. its really blow the mind, especially when you walking in the old streets with cobblestone and cafe and bistros around you and there is one of beautiful waterfalls is Mont-Morency. The city mentioned as one of the best places in christmas☃️❄️

Watching this video is so much like watching the movie frozen, or The Chronicles of Narnia. My favorite places to visit in the winter time particularly Christmas is a choice between Estes Park YMCA Camp Colorado or Snow Mountain Ranch YMCA Camp Colorado. But Norway for Christmas sounds like an excellent family get together. I am 1/4 Norwegian myself, and I got Norwegian cousins from my mom's dad's side of the family living in Norway. But I never had a Christmas there. Nor did I ever see the Northern Lights in person.

@@RyanShirley When do you go to New Zealand? If you go, there is a tour I highly recommend that was only worth $500.00. I don't know if the value got steep over the years. But it was called KIWI Experience otherwise known as Green bus. I'm pretty sure it's mostly for people your age. I made a lot of friends my age there that were like family to me. They had me perform Gollum at the nose of the Green bus as we entered the movie set of Hobbiton, and picked me as there chief of the Maori people. The upsetting thing was I lost my camera there on Mount Doom in 2016. I'm 29 years old and I'm slow with you tubing then you are.
