The difference between the 2 headshots is that in X2, he really wasn't expecting it and that's probably why it knocked him out for a few seconds. He was in a relaxed state. In Origins, he wakes up, probably overfueled with adrenaline, and that's most likely why he was able to shrug it off like nothing. Or could be something as simple as a difference in the calibers used.

Notice that in "The Wolverine", the wound left by the bullet is a long gash. That would indicate that the impact wasn't dead on and ricocheted off. In X2 however, the bullet struck squarely on his head and stopped, dumping all of it's energy into his skull.

the fact that the cop in X2 was like no more than 6 feet away, and the Xmen origins wolverine, the guy was a fair ways farther being also up a flight of stairs.

in the comics at least his healing factor is even more insane, he has regenerated from a single atom, his amnesia is a direct result of his healing factor protecting his long lived mind from the horrors he has been through by actually blocking them off. Even Xavier could not reach certain parts of his memory because they are too fragmented to be read. Also the process of his adamantuim skeleton took hours showing that for a being known for his rage and short temper he is in complete control and only lets his temper out when he wants to.

Also worth mentioning: The adamantium skeleton *slows down* his healing factor. It's constantly poisoning him, and his healing factor is countering it - without it he actually heals faster.

Wolverine isn’t an “anti” hero, though. He’s a regular old superhero. In fact, he’s far from it. Just because a hero has had a checkered past doesn’t make them an antihero. Deadpool is an antihero because he still occasionally d’ables is “villain” roles. Same for Magneto, and Harley Quinn.

Wolverine is actually a textbook anti-hero. He only started becoming a superhero during his film adaption. You're correct on Deadpool, but not on Magneto. Magneto is actually an Anti-Villain. While the anti-hero often fights on the side of good, but with questionable or selfish motives; the anti-villain plays a villain's game, but for a noble cause in a way that the audience or other characters can sympathize with.

The bullet was made out of the same metal as Captain America’s shield basically. This was explained in the movie

@@jamesbizs We are both technically right and technically wrong. Captain America's shield is made of a proto-adamantium usually called Vibranium. The weapon x program tried to recreated it but created adamantium which after being put on wolverine it eventually changed to beta-adamantium as it changed on a molecular level because of his healing powers. I was unaware that there was a third type called true adamantium. The bullet if made from the same material as logan would have been made from true adamantium and not proto adamantium as I previously assumed. also I am thinking of the bullet in Logan not the X3

Wolverine had his adrenaline rush powers in the scene where he hops out the water naked and takes the bullet from Zero, but in X2 he was calm and didn't have his adrenaline going making it harder for him to shrug off bullets.

Well that, and the shot knockout was much closer and more direct than the other one (other one left a gash where it grazed him, knockout shot hit dead on and stopped, transferring all its energy directly into his head)

He was thrown through a sun once in the comics. He survived orbital reentry being outside without a suit. He can defeat entropy because cutting meat off of his own body to eat and regenerating it takes less energy than eating it gives him back. The plan to kill him by Xavier needs the muramasa blade and then you need to take his head clean off in one swipe and then take it far away from his body and keep them seperated to stop him from simply coming back. Which is broven in one of the ultimates comics where he is ripped in two by the hulk and his legs are thrown miles away from his torso and he crawls over to them and re-attaches them to himself.

I think the biggest thing that people fail to realize about Wolverine is that his healing Factor doesn't negate the pain best examples of this is in the first X-Men movie when Rogue asked him does it hurt when his claws come out he responds every time now you need to put that in perspective that means every time he uses his claws he can feel his claws ripping through his skin every single time if he gets shot he can feel the pain associated with being shot when Jean Gray nearly disintegrated him he could fill his skin just tearing apart that is the most badass thing about Wolverine is his insane pain tolerance

I can actually feel for Logan character when his heart rate went over 300 cause mine did as well when my shoulder got replaced & the nerve block didn't take, I was strapped down to a gurney for 2&1/2 hours, given 2 shots of heparin & 3 shots of adrenaline in the stomach - it really sucked. But at least when doctors ask what my version of 10 is on the pain scale, I remember it very vividly. Crying pain is 7, blinding is 8, puking & bowel control loss is 9, and 10 is much worse... People that consider a paper cut to be a 9 & stepping on a nail to be 10 just crack me up no end 😂

Having done some looking into it, it comes down to the comics artists giving the bone claws, the first time they showed up, that distinctly odd appearance. Ever since then people have just followed suit. Does it make any sense? No, they should be straight and fairly smooth, and possibly with a slight hook to them. Instead they're knobby bone spikes and always have been.

07:40 there is a diffrence between a direct head on shot. and one at an angle like this one. the one that riqochet's clearly showes it bounced off of the adimantium skull. but the one in x2 was head on. so the bullet didn't bounce off it crumpled into a flat piece of lead and stayed in place against the adimantium skull. his healing then pushes it out like a splinter because to him that's all it is. (though there is a hole in his skull somewhere, from the adimantium bullet)

i always thought that the reason between the two headshots was because in comics logans healing speed depends on the amount of damage he sustained, the more damage he takes, the faster he heals when he just got the new adamantium skeleton, his body registers a bullet to the head as a much more serious threat because it hasn't properly processed just how strong adamantium is but years later, when his healing factor is now more attuned his adamantium skeleton, a bullet doesn't even register as threatening

james howlet is actualy a good name,james sound like a desent guy name and howlett wel its sounds like a wolf howl. in the comics where they explore his past he is seen beeing in the hart of a nuclear explosion and in the dust of that he is seen healing fully back from just abit of flesh over bones,quat a cool story. 9:20 is a cool moment for shure but honestly i think jean was holding back,she could disintegrate haf the complex in moment so i doubt she couldnt tear wolverine appart in a moment so i think she held back on him.

Hugh Jackman brought Wolverine to life. The comic books are successful, but I don't think Wolverine would have been such a screen success, if it were another actor. It would be hard to pull another successful Wolverine movie without Hugh.
