Iron Man the Armored adventures was actually really good though. It’s plot about his father was complemented very well by the subplots about hive and stain as well as the Mandarin. Also, unlike any of the Iron Man movies, it portrayed Obadiah Stane, Whiplash, the Mandarin, and extremis in a way that that fits their characters

Recently watched the first season of Iron Man Armored Adventures, and I really liked it! The animation is rough at times, and the dialogue can be a bit cheesy, but I thought it was a lot of fun! It had some good drama, voice talent, and still kept true to the heart of the characters while putting them in a high school environment. Sad it only had 2 seasons before getting the axe.

Sure, it wasn't the best, but the story telling was pretty cool, and it had an awesome concept of focusing on the lesser known members of the Avengers. 4:12 For someone who takes shows and superheroes too seriously, then yeah, Superhero Squad is pretty bad. But when you look back at it and realize that it's just a comedy show for kids, plus you consider the fact that it holds TONS and TONS of references to Marvel comics, then you will start to like it a bit. 6:49 Hey, I liked Iron Man: Armored Adventures! Back in the day when it first airred it was but looking at it now the 73 version was kinda chessy compared to the later incarnations especially the superfriends clashing with the legion of doom. Now the animated Batman show of 1977 that was pretty goofy with the annyoing Batmite.

@@dressshoeguy the reason it was included here is due to the fact that it aged poorly. at the time it was probably well received. and it paved the way for much better shows to follow. , batman/superman adventures. justice league unlimited, and probably even teen titans can have benefited from that show. thing is every superhero relalted show was cheesy back then. look at adam wests batman for proof, even the more serious shows were cheesy. incredible hulk, bionic woman, 6 milllion dollar man were all cheesy. its what was done back then

I love Iron Man: Armored Adventures. I like the contrast from what we’ve seen in the movies and I think it adds something new and different having Tony at a younger age. Plus we actually get to see Tony interact with his dad, see more into his friendship with Rhodey and Pepper, and the villains are a lot more fleshed out and intriguing imo.

@@stainshield Especially considering that The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes, one of the finest superhero shows ever made, was canceled so that they could instead do the VASTLY inferior Avengers Assemble garbage. The fact that AA was extremely meh (like the MCU it's based on) is only compounded by the fact that it's existence is due to killing a MUCH better show. To me, that was unforgivable.

I like Iron man armored adventures, it's a fresh new take on the hero, and they especially did a good job making the Mandarin look intimidating. I also really like the designs for the villains he fights, they even made forgettable and lame villains like unicorn and killer shrike, and made them look somewhat cool. But I do agree the CGI animation is awkward at times, and I REALLY hate Pepper Potts character in the show.

The concept of making Iron man a teen in armoured adventures is HORRIBLE on paper, but it actually worked really well, and Super Hero Squad was my childhood and although I haven’t watched it recently so I can’t really defend it, although I distinctly remember it having at least a few really well written jokes. It also gave a good introduction for some more obscure marvel characters.

I distinctly remember watching Super Hero Squad a few times when it was on, and ALWAYS wanting to change the channel to something else.
