One thing you might find interesting about Zoomies: While you might look like a total spazz, they are GREAT for reading the guide or show info if you have bad eyes while flipping through TV shows. My eyes are, and they've saved me many headaches and trips across the living room. Not kidding. Maybe review those earpieces that are supposed to hugely increase hearing ability? That commercial was nonstop 4-8 years ago. Great job as always.

The silicone sponges, while not absorbent, work great for really sticky items or tough to scrub off. If you ever tried to get melted cheese off a metal spoon where the cheese hardened onto the spoon as it cooled can be very difficult. A regular sponge will become gunked up and almost unusable after that. The silicon scrubber removes the stuck on cheese, or bbq sauce, and cleans up effortlessly itself.

I think the scrubby things are more of a sponge replacement, I notice you didn't test them doing dishes by hand, which is what I presume they would be good for. The epilator isn't being used in the right context. It is for ladies to remove fine hair from their face. If it had more tweezers that would be too painful to use on the face, which is more sensitive to pain.
@buckman727 жыл бұрын
The defrost plate works great if you heat it by running hot water over it for about a minute. It heats the metal and will thaw items fairly quickly. I have had the miracle thaw for several years now with decent results.
@dsmoovest7 жыл бұрын
William Foreman - I wonder if your suggestion was part of the instructions. If not, it seems like we'd be assisting the manufacturer with our own ideas to improve a failed product.
@buckman727 жыл бұрын
It was part of the instructions under the name of miracle thaw. However I cannot speak for the one actually reviewed. Also as the item thaws the plate does have to be heated again from time to time depending on the item you are thawing.
@beccahochanadel57096 жыл бұрын
Having to keep hearing the plate up for it to thaw things sounds absolutely ridiculous. Why not just defrost in water? Quicker, cheaper, easier

As for the wallet, it reminds me of the OGON wallets, they had a similar design and the clasp was always the weakest spot. Drop it once, wallet explodes open and never locks again. Or if you put too many cards in the wallet the force will snap the clasp and then the wallet is pretty much useless. Unless you like your stuff all over the floor.
@daedavis9356 жыл бұрын
Hey, love your reviews thus far. I checked out the Arctic Air. Bought the upgraded model which you didn't mention thought you should let us know if this is a rip off or not....I mean I live in an attic and so I did the upgrade because of the fact that it is very hot and humid in Maryland where I live. So in an attic a fan isn't much help at all. I have't received it yet, but I wish when you did your review you covered both of them. They were misleading saying it was only 20/ and ended up costing 100/! But when you are desperate in the heat of the dead of summer you are willing to pay less and actually get cool instead of hot air blowing on you all night. Don't really sleep much during the night in this case anyway. Good luck and keep up the great work. I can't get yelp anymore. Don't know why but I used to trust them implicitly with their reviews but it won't come up on my PC anymore. I wonder why???
@Tr3B3lla6 жыл бұрын
I bought that wallet in your honorable mention section. I bought it awhile ago so it didn't have a charger but I had the same problem with the clasp!! You could only fit a few cards in there and no cash for it to close. At one point the clasp broke and it wouldn't stay closed anymore so I tossed it!!

I find the Flippin Fantastic to be just as it's namesake says. I've never used it for fried eggs, but I have used it to make scrambled egg patties (can also be used as egg buns) and pancakes with no problem. You have to use at least a 12 inch skillet. Lowest side walls possible. And when you flip, pop the freaking things out of the holes! Also, baking spray helps with the pancakes.

The "better sponge" is really useful for those that have a loved one that leaves a traditional sponge in the sink sopping wet only to mildew. The "better sponge", though not typically what we know as a sponge, drys out so it doesn't tend to mildew (at least not in our house). That is it's biggest asset as it doesn't scrub as good as the abrasive side of a sponge but it drys out even if left in the bottom of the sink. We use both and I can tell you that after a week of the better half using a traditional sponge, it stinks and has to be put in the microwave to clean it (or just replace it if you don't mind spending $5.00 a week) where as the better sponge has no odor to it after a week of use.

The Air Dragon may be a bust, but there are some great products like it out there. I bought one for under $40 that plugs into my cigarette light. What makes my versionamazing is the you can set the PSI to what you want, then leave it because it shuts off automatically. Another big plus is that mine has a built in flashlight, so if you ever need to use it at night, you've always got a light source handy. For the adventure minded, whomever made my compressor included adapters; consequently, you can use it to blow up air mattresses, kayaks, pool toys, etc... Like the Air Dragon, my version also has a storage space for the cord, which keeps it nice and neat. It also fits under my seats with ease, so space/storage are not an issue. I highly recommend everyone shot around for a compressor like mine because it has been so useful.

Can you find an automatic casting fishing pole? This wonder was from the late 1960's to the early 1970's. I think that id was in the ad insert that was in Parade magazine. It would be a cool throwback feature if you could find a copy of the ad or better still an actual specimen of this artefact. My grandfather ordered one of these and it excelled at tangling the fishing line up at the cup at the end of the steel casting rod. It ended up on the junk pile which made it fair game to my 11 year old self. After discarding the useless fishing line bobbin/casting cup you were left with a steel rod. There was a side handle where you would cock the steel rod with a pretty strong spring then push the handle up into the firing position. After seeing how it worked the fun began. There was a retaining screw at the bottom of the steel rod which once removed fired that rod like a friggin harpoon gun. And after a couple minutes on the grinding wheel to give the tip a nice sharp point that is what I ended up with.

Did anyone else notice when he was talking about the WINDOW WONDERLAND how he kept switching it from one hand to the other? Then transfer to right hand and point with right. Then repeat.

I just saw a new product called egglettes. A set of three for $14.99. I hope you can get some of those to review. They look like they might work ok, especially if you want to add a few extras to the eggs (onions, cheese) but I am sure there is not room for much more than the egg. They hard or soft boil the egg without the shell. Have you ever used the scrub daddy? I have to have one at all times. They start to fall apart at about a month or two months depending on how much you use it. Although it is a shark tank invention. I really like them. Thanks for the reviews. Lol

The few times that I saw something "as seen on tv" that I thought were interesting, I bought the identical item through eBay, directly from China. Every time it was for less than half the TV advertised "price" for one (assuming that's assuming that I'd bought the "free" one) , and with shipping included. The only downside of doing this is the time required for shipping takes longer. +90% of this stuff is made in China, and the production runs are much larger than a telemarketing company can handle.
