I love the Yugioh 5Ds games for the DS. I liked how you can make your own avatar and play through the story of 5Ds. I also like how you can actually do the turbo duels from the anime. You can also race people too.

Yu-Gi-Oh Forbidden Memories. Very straight forward, focused on the Egyptian aspect, challenging as well, can equip easily without polymerization..its my favorite one . Definitely, going to check out of the other ones though.

My top yugioh games was the 2010 & 2011 world championships because I was a Nintendo kid and loved playin games on my DS. Also what was nice about the 2010 & 2011 games is that you make your own character and the story throws you into the anime as if you were the main character. Super cool and it also had a online mode, and updated cards.

Duel Links is straight booty cheeks for new players. If you haven't been playing within a month of the game's release you better be prepared to put a fair amount of money into the game to get decent decks that will actually do anything in the PvP scene. Because thanks to certain events already unavailable, there are quite a few key cards, characters, and character abilities for the competitive meta that are unavailable. Thanks to this, there are decks that are hard as hell to counter if you don't have the right cards or characters... and if the right cards or characters were only available through certain event(s), then you're shit out of luck until they eventually decide to put it in a purchasable pack (if even that). But then that, in itself, is a problem because due to being unable to make a decent deck, you can't really grind PvP for gems... it is an endless cycle of repetitive uselessness. I don't recommend it if you haven't already been playing for a while. Also, in my opinion, the game is boring. Everyone just wants to get to the top so they only ever play meta decks or variants of them. So all you really see are Tea burn decks, Weevil parasites, Zombies, Cyber Angels, Red Eyes decks, Blue Eyes otk, and the occasional Grandpa's scum. It is dull, boring, and uninteresting...

@@Truckerdaddy I did it no gameshark, however, used the duplicate cards cheat with the memory cards, and the strategy, was to buy twin headed thunder dragon, multiply it, and then earn meteor B. dragon from meadow mage, then multiply it. With those two cards, you can win even Nitemare (The final boss). However, you do have to duel a shit lot to earn those monsters/stars. Along the way you'll get very useful cards, like raigeki, beast fangs, etc., that helped for me

I love Duel Links! Yes the online is unfairly hard, but the standard mode isn't too hard and the number of cards is insane! And just being able to have both Dark Magician cards and Blue Eyes White Dragon cards together in one deck along with the Egyptian God cards is awesome! milansta96 I have the game in my school backpack still, but I myself did not like the changes they made to it. I have that game 2009 and 2011 I believe or 2010. The coolest thing about 2009 I think was it was the 1st Yu-Gi-Oh! Game to have wifi duels but the other players can just quit on you (and they will) and no one gets the win making the online play experience sucky. In duel links who ever quits/disconnects takes the loss so that way is better (I feel) and makes online more fun to play.

Thanks for the video, After watching more of the video and seeing the top 3 I can see why it's further back. I had heard about Duelist of the Roses but I thought it was a typical yu-gi-oh game so I skipped it which is completely incorrect apparently. The Falsebound Kingdom on the other hand I had no idea about and looks crazy. I'll have to put Duel Links down for a day and check those two out.

For some reason, the Yugioh games that don't use the official rules are the most fun! Forbidden Memories, Duelist of the Roses, and Capsule Monsters Colosseum are my all time favorites. World Championship 2006 is probably my favorite that uses the real rules because it also uses the real packs and starter decks too.

I hope they eventually develop a yugioh game for all the latest consoles where the player could create their own human player with a name of their own choice and a story as the main hero/heroine from a timeline further along from the current yugioh anime being aired and has access to all the known cards to date as well be able to meet up with all the known characters of each series also has a small group of friends which travel along with him/her in order to help recover the players memories and with time find out that he/she had previous lives known as the rider in an alternate world with humans and monster spirits co-existing together in harmony and learn that the rider was immortal however had been defeated in the last life and cursed to be reborn without any memories and their power sealed by the post story's bad guy. The bad guy of the story known as Stynus the overlord of terror comes form a different world of where humans and monster spirits are being enslaved by him with an army monster spirits as well as humans and aims to conquer the galaxy through the game by any means necessary. the post story's bad guy is currently an evil ruler of the hero's/heroine's original world formally named insidior now known as Fraxion the emperor of doom with the goal of ensuring his reign is eternal by draining the player's power and then destroying them. that said i would like to see they include images of the characters move in the desired figuring image created by the player and images of the monsters on the field and the cards and even all the other previous options including customizing the character and deck during the game play and menu.

Honestly this list is pretty legit. Even though I've never played about 4-5 of the games I have no complaints except I would put duelists of the roses as #1. Game was amazing. Forbidden memories has a special place in my heart cause it's my first yugioh game. I'm an old school head. Lol. Legacy of the duelists has/had so much potential if they added 3D battles for all battles and 3D holograms above cards in the board. Just little small ones would make it feel that much cooler getting something like a god card summoned on the field.

Nightmare troubadour for the nintendo ds is my favorite, unlike most games in which you control either yugi and kaiba you are your own character and you duke it out with everyone in championships just like in a real tournamemt. Every monster has unique 3d animations which its crazy considering how many cards actually are, the music is freaking fantastic and again, it has a great selección of cards, up to the start of GXs

Excalibur I have that game paid like $34.99 for it when it was new it was not a perfectly fun game to me and it had its problems that for me keep it from making the top 10 list. Like 40 Yu-Gi-Oh! Nice list I play some of those games and I like some and didn't like some mostly because I wasn't good at it or I didn't know how to play the game well and half the time for duel link Wi-Fi would be going off in middle of duel and I saw some games that would be on my list and some games wouldn't be on my list mostly because I don't know how to play it but my favorite is tag force game but I love yugioh and I'm still going to try every yugioh video games I can and I know I wouldn't be good in every one of those yugioh even the ones that not the list but I mostly play all video games just for fun yugioh video games are one of my favorite and only one of my favorite yugioh game made on list no I couldn't beat it but its still my favorite it the one for GameCube but my other favorite not on list and they are my favorite but other than that this is a good list and yes I'm huge yugioh fan.

Basically, the Sun and Moon mechanic was recolored in Sacred Cards and Nightmare Troubador by the Levels, the Fiend and Dream are like Sun and Moon, Pluto was Thunder, Mars was fire, Saturn was Wind, etc.

One of my favourites was Stairway to the Destined Duel. It was a pretty comprehensive duelling game for GBA; every game I played (Forbidden Memories, Duelist of the Roses, Falsebound Kingdom and such) we’re all Yu-Gi-Oh by name, but had major differences to gameplay to how Duel Monsters was played, even Forbidden Memories felt way too restrictive. SttDD was the very first game of Yu-Gi-Oh we’re the duelling was the exact same as the one found in the actual anime, and duelling on it was such a breath of fresh air that I played it for hours, trying out all the different card combinations. I love it so much, I still have it to this day!

WHAAAAT NO FORBIDDEN MEMORIES!!? That game there took out so much time of my childhood grinding out cards and finding new fusions. The difficulty was amazing and super hard and you had to find out strategies to beat them. You couldn't just put codes in for strong monsters because they cost waaay to much starchips so you had to grind the cards win. It had great 3d animation for every card and its amazing since it was on ps1! The fusion system made the game so much more fun and interesting! This game was amazing and it was the prequal to duelist of the rose! Also the soundtrack was amazing as well too maaaan that free duel music I can listen to all day!

tyquan1000finest it kinda is it's own game, its more like ygopro with play style. The story mode has you play against most characters from the first 4 animes then replay the same ones with upgraded decks. Its a challenge for any type of duelest and the online can be really fun since it has 5,000+ card list. There is alot of grind to it and ALOT of cards are locked behide dlc. It's an alright game and people still play online.

The sacred cards and reshef of destructions plus my action replay Modul made those games sooo enjoyable just copy original Yami Yugi and Kaiba decks. I loved to play the story cuz it was based on the original anime series and the Manga.

you forgot ygopro 2. The ygopro sim you showed was dawn of a new era. Percy is currently the best one since it includes anime cards and different types of duel modes like boss duel, action duel, speed duel, turbo duel, etc. Duel links uses speed duel format with 3 monster zones and 3 s/t zones.

CuriousCat thanks when I recorded this video ygopro2 was still in beta only testing stages so I can't put it on the list it's no way it was the top 10 still in testing mode with bugs and all still. Now is different if the final version of the game is out. I showed the ygo pro I did because I enjoy the graphics of that one more. What's a boss duel and I have both ygopro to said but I play the one with the white number monster on it more lol

The graphics are what you customize it too. All ygopro 1s can be customized to look exactly the same. It's just replacing your background, textures, skins, and card sleeves. Dawn of a new era has several bugs because their core functions are not updated. They also have annoying pop-up ads asking you to donate. When you use an oudated core, the scripts of the cards don't work. Ygopro 2 has been out of beta for a while since May of last year when they released link monsters. You can get ygopro 2 from discord.gg/duelistsunite but the Gideon server is currently down since the guy hosting it (Gideon) is moving to a new place so his computer is not connected.
