Anyway You Want It, Ain't Talkin' Bout Love and Runnin' with the Devil came out in 1978. Flirtin' with Dissaster, Surrender, Highway to Hell, Panama and Young Lust came out in 79. Since You've Been Gone was released in 1976.

Good catch on the others though. I think there may be a few more that were from the '70s. I was actually thinking the Skid Row album may have come out in '90, and maybe even the Doctor Feelgood album as well. I'll let it slide though if so. Skid Row definitely was the end of that era unfortunately. Their timing was just too late.

@@GNewcomb-q9v we didn’t have all these sub-genres throughout most of the 80s, it was all metal, which is why the all-encompassing Headbanger’s Ball played it all.

Look at the beginning and description. They include 1978-1989 as 80s...which makes sense as a lot of 80s type rock started then (AC/DC, Van Halen, etc)

Some of the artists like Iron Maiden, Motley Crue and White Lion are more laggressive than Hard Rock. I don't think U2 has ever made a hard rock song and Sultan of Swings (1978) is Pup Rock (AKA Rock music from pubs/bars. Long history), but all of the songs are beyond awesome either way.

C est votre opinion et je le respecte. Toutefois selon moi des groupes comme the Police, Deep Purple, led Zeppelin que j aurai personnellement classé en 3. D'autre part il manque cruellement des groupes mythiques selon moi qui ont largement leur place parmi les 100 meilleurs. Emerson Lake and Palmer, Yes, Grandfunk Railroad, Symply Red, Jethro tull par exemple. Mais quand même oser mettre les bee gees, Abba, eagles devant deep purple, Toto, les rolling stone j avoue que je ne comprend pas. Mon avis personnel en 1 Pink Floyd 2 Led Zeppelin 3 The Beatles 4 les Rolling stones 5 Police 6 Emerson Lake and Palmer certainement avec Pink Floyd les meilleurs musiciens de toute cette liste

Shit list. Bon jovi was the biggest rock band in the 80, and there any song on the list?? If Cinderella and Poison have 2 songs, Bon Jovi deserves at least 5.... And u2, dire straits, and other band are not hard rock...

This list includes songs from '78 to '89. '78 is when the 80's hard rock sound really started. AC/DC, Van Halen, etc.

I like the top 10, but any list that includes Poison and Warrant is doomed. Rush, The Cult and Rainbow deserve better representation. I like the inclusion of Tesla. What about “Love Song”??!
