We are Graciela and Emile, a Mexican-Dutch couple living in the Netherlands. We are full-time photographers and filmmakers (weddings, corporate photography and more) and we also make microstock photos and videos since 2018. By now (mid 2024) we have a total of around 30,000 photos and 3,000 videos online. For our KZbin Channel we make trips and excursions where, in addition to material for the KZbin videos, we also make photos and videos for sale via microstock agencies such as Shutterstock, Adobe, Getty and more. We make series of KZbin videos from the posted photos with our best-selling 100 photos per subject.

Some channels and people suggest that microstock is dead. We totally don't agree. We are still selling photos and videos every day, making not a full income, but a decend site income enough to cover the expenses for our travels. This completes the circle!
Selling photos through agencies is not difficult. But you should not take the youtube videos with promises of hundreds of dollars or more per month too seriously. It takes motivation and perseverance to start and grow. And even then, the income will not be in proportion to the efforts in the first period. But it is very nice and satisfying to see your first sales appear, no matter how small! See it as a hobby and enjoy, who knows what will come of it!

Algunos canales y personas sugieren que el microstock está muerto. No estamos de acuerdo en absoluto. Seguimos vendiendo fotos y vídeos todos los días, no obteniendo un ingreso completo, pero sí un ingreso decente del sitio, suficiente para cubrir los gastos de nuestros viajes. ¡Esto completa el círculo!
Vender fotos a través de agencias no es difícil. Pero no debes tomarte demasiado en serio los videos de KZbin con promesas de cientos de dólares o más por mes. Se necesita motivación y perseverancia para comenzar y crecer. E incluso entonces, los ingresos no serán proporcionales a los esfuerzos en el primer período. ¡Pero es muy agradable y satisfactorio ver aparecer tus primeras ventas, sin importar cuán pequeñas sean! Tómalo como un pasatiempo y disfruta, ¡quién sabe qué saldrá de esto!
