The whole song didnt resemble the Disasterpeace I knew...maybe because I have played Hyper Light Drifter and recently Fez, I havent got a copy of Solar Ash or his recent work. But seeing HLD cameo was awesome, I am waiting for the the HLB, but I still think they could have made so much more with the world, the art, the side character, I hope Heart Machina is not trying to catch lightning in the bottle twice, while they sit on a massive IP.

What I like about it is that it works as a "boss" threat, despite not actually having any intent of becoming hostile. Because in the movie, most people have no idea what the ship are here for. So for them this would fit right into this compilation.

1) That blockout scene in the beginning is publicly available. Get it for reference purposes 2) Come up with an idea 3) Do the mid poly, high poly and low poly meshes for your scene. Bake and texture them 4) Do some skining, rigging and animating 5) Create some custom shaders for fancy surfaces 6) Particle systems for smoke, sparks and other effects, or even physics simulation 7) Set up lights 8) Rendering settings Of course, this is a gAmEdEv iNdUsTry sTaNdArD. Movie-boys or industrial-boys will tell you a different story. Also, each part can be done in many different ways. Chose those that suits the project needs

Seeing Hyperlight Drifter at 5:05 was so awesome! I love that right when it starts, a new instrument joins in that sounds just like the one in the Hyperlight Drifter OST. It makes me think how awesome a movie for that game would be. EDIT: I just found out Disasterpeace (who also did the music for Hyperlight Drifter) are the people who made the music for this video! The storytelling for some of these are... phenomenal. Timestamps for a few of my favorites: 0:50 I LOVE the mythological take on the theme and the fight choreography of the giant is so strangely satisfying to me 1:35 Lasts only a few seconds and I'm already so fascinated with whatever kind of world this is. Is this a Big Brother type situation? Is the man throwing a brick trapped in an artificial reality? Why is no one else in the building? Lotta thoughts... 1:45 This is just gorgeous. I love the design of the goddess, I love the way she appears, so pretty. 2:05 May have given me a newfound fear of sharks. The terror is definitely felt here it's insane. 2:15 More great storytelling! I love the shock on the puppet's face after seeing the kid cut it's strings as it's hand starts to vanish. And the soft "no" it mouthed as it happened. 2:26 I love this construction paper + fabric art style and the choppy, block-y kind of animation, the motion hits so hard and it's so charming! 2:50 Again, THE STORYTELLING??? The kid screaming, the light flooding in as the parents open the door and the monster turns it's head and disappears... so good. 3:25 The dnd theme is so creative, sent it to my dnd obsessed roommates. 4:10 I know what this is now lmao 4:50 The motion goes so hard and is just really satisfying to me! 5:40 Looks like a tarot card, the colors are incredible, the contrast between the overpowering reds and the green of the dragon definitely caught my eye, as well as the bright white halo being used as the focal point 5:55 The colors and scenery is so well done, the feathers of the bird look painted to me, so pretty! 6:50 The comic book style rendering is so cool??? The contrast of the black and the bright reds and blues really pop, plus the little *boom* word bubbles 7:50 The choppy slow movement of the boss followed by the sharp slicing movement really sells this for me, it's so stylish and cool Anyway, yall went so fucking hard

@@Bunndog A friend of mine passed away due to a congenital heart disease back in 2018 and after playing this game I felt a strange connection to it but couldn't understand why. It was fun and sounded good but I've played a lot of games and none sat with me like this one did. Come to find out later that the game maker made it partly to come to terms with his own congenital heart disease and the battle he himself faced. Really incredible moment for me.
