Allen Key bolt.....why destroy an Allen Key when bits are cheap enough? (£1 for a screw driver & bits) Threading wire through a plastic tube.....I think the wire is stiff enough to thread through the pipe on its own instead of making it over complicated with a string, a nut & a magnet!

I guess it was important to hit that ‘100’ mark because ~25 of these are just improvised compasses but using slightly different objects. such as: some string… a paper clip… a bent paper clip… some wire… your hand… a bent nail… 2 bent nails… a zip tie… and the list goes on… just saying if you need to draw circles this much you might consider investing in an actual compass. I mean, I’ve never been in a situation where I badly needed to draw a perfect circle but had no way of obtaining a compass (…NOT tripping on mushrooms I mean)
@AmberDMiller

AGREED. I was so sick of all the improvised compasses. Or group them all together and highlight each section with its type of usefulness so we can skip past all of what we don’t need help with.

I've been wracking my brain trying to figure out how to make this wooden clamping knob for an adjustable lap desk, twist on and off again. The threading on the inside of the knob just wore away. I've jars full of nuts, but none fit, nor did shields, omg. Your suggestion at 3:28 of vid gives me hope, but I wonder if the hotglue I have on hand will work. Maybe yours is stronger to handle the stress of tightening and loosening. Hehe, nothin' beats a failure but a try! Thanks so much! woot-woot:)

Some were pretty great, others were either something you should be able to figure out if you have any worksman ability (like chaining two zip ties if one isn't enough) or solutions looking for problems. And did anyone else expect this to be his last video when tied three screws together and stuck them in a drill? That's an accident waiting to happen, as can see when he first started the hole. Might be useful as a bore if don't have one but even then it would be hard to get precise with the size.

Ok, gotta admit the way to keep from losing my WD40 straw, I’m doing today. I use that stuff all the time in my art, for laundry, cleaning stainless appliances, removing rust etc and try as I might, I still lose the damn straw. I do like most of the tips, but with a few I use different hack. I’m a kind of use what I got - kind of hacker also. So I appreciate your channel. Even if it I don’t use your exact hack, it sparks the imagination for another. But I’m not sure about the hot glue in the screw hole thing. Unless your using construction grade hot glue, craft glue won’t hold long term. I use a marine trick. Scrape the wax of a toilet ring, I do keep one on hand, around the screw, fill the hole with resin, screw in the screw and after the resin has set, remove the screw. It works every time, long term.
