My favorites in this video: *ISOxo - dontstopme!* - this kind of festival trap is very dope and reminds me a lot of 'JUMP in' from knock2's ROOM202 EP *Skrillex & Nai Barghouti - XENA* - This is some high quality banger trap Skrillex, me want more *CloudNone & Skybreak - Feeling Free* - I'm still impressed that they were able to do something like that, this is insane *Kaval - Subconscious (BVSSIC Remix)* - I mean it's BVSSIC what else do you expect *Kotori - Cut Ties (feat. ginko)* - It's the same kind of deal as 'Eden' with Moon Jelly, and the vocals are a nice touch too, don't really mind the lyrics too much, perhaps his best release this year *xaev - something new (feat. mopearound)* - One of my favorites from Exobolt 010, alongside Everyday Things. The rock elements in the midsection leading into the second drop are pretty nice, and both drops are some good ol' complextro goodness from start to finish *Blanke & helloworld - Used To Losing You (feat. Luma & JT Roach)* - Incredible track with strong drops and the vocalists also killed it too. *Infowler - Particles* - Infowler's best this year *Rome In Silver & Beach Season - Keep The Lights On* - The man is back at it again with a banger *Grabbitz - Hero* - Grabbitz once again showing his expertise in making great songs. This one has very impactful midtempo drops, those basslines in those are insane, and he's also killing it with the vocals as per usual *AIKA - Sakura Overdose* - Out of all of his aliases, I prefer AIKA a lot more, and especially when he does it in this style *knock2 - REWiND* - Just knock2 doing knock2 things, ROOM202 was a blast to listen to *Au5 - Escape* - The whole album as a whole is just awesome, with some tracks like this and 'Before You Leave' have a distinct identity of sorts. More Au5 trance pls *Au5, Cyazon & Tyler Graves - Before You Leave* - Speak of the devil, this is a really good one. Love how it swaps between Au5's melodic parts and Cyazon's harsher sound *Former Hero - heaventone* - that was just a short snippet but this sounds like a bop and a half *Au5, Derpcat & HA!L - Paradise* - Bridges Between Sweep

Really neat list! Lots of interesting experimental-ish stuff here...Also that hypertrance comp was awesome! My favorite songs this year would be: Neurolink - Infinite Evolution Diabarha - Naval Memento Vylet Pony - Hush! Looking forward to a good 2024! You seemed to be pretty busy this year but that's ok; these videos are neat and I can't wait for more!

A great year! Still not better than 2021. Soils Unknown by Kuatari (which is missing here) is my most favorite EDM song this year. Eye in the Sandstone by Echorift is probably my 2nd most favorite EDM/rock song this year. Different Tomorrow by Buunshin is third. Some songs that are in my top 100 for sure that were not mentioned: Oolacile - Vista Acloudyskye - Flares Boombox Cartel - Feel it 2 Knock2 - Rock ur world Xaev - toby fox discovers the hyperpop soundfont My main genre this year was rap tho. Utopia by Travis Scott was my aot. Scarring the Hoes by JPEGMafia was second. Even tho it took over, i still adore EDM songs and this year was no exception.

Also what are your thoughts on UK Dubstep/Deep Dubstep/140s/Grime and that sort of stuff? This genre saw a resurgence this year (mainly courtesy of Skrillex) and I’ve enjoyed some of the output within this genre

it’s definitely a style of dubstep that needs more listens to be able to fully enjoy it, but when you do it can be really good

Oh wow this list is by far the most shocking one I have ever seen in your top 100 list Heaventone, in the spite of all, heat death of the universe are some of the best tracks of all time No acloudyskye this year? I was expecting Overflow, Flares and the track with Paark to be in this list In The Rain is on top 15? overflow, flares and the paark collab were songs i did enjoy but i thought they were all missing something that could’ve landed them in the top 100 acs put out great stuff this year, but it was also not his best year imo in the rain ranks that high because I’ve been enjoying it a lot recently, same for heavier too for one last flicker, then we’re gone, it was just missing a bit more emotional impact that could’ve landed it in the list
