I'm sorry but I agree with Meg. Dairy does NOT mean butter. Gusto is an amazingly intelligent (and legal) clue for a grouping containing wind. I would agree that margarine or breeze would be illegal clues, but dairy? That's like saying "animal" is an illegal clue when cow is on the list.

Just for clarity sake...the issue is using butterfly as a single word, to connect something that relates to butter and something that relates to fly :) I stilll think it's a fun clue but not a legal clue :)

Now for the important stuff... crossovers with this section of Alex's list. I have 4 more in this video -- 16) El Grande, 17) Codenames/Duet, 18) Inis, 19) So Clover!. Rapid recovery over the last 2 videos so I only need 1 crossover in the final section to hit my 20% guess and I know there are 2 games for sure in his top 10 that I have so I think it's in the bag! Looking forward to the final segment.

Alex’s love for area control and my dislike of it is the death of my dream of having 50% of Alex’s top 100 in our collection. I don’t think we will own 7 of the top 10. Maybe next year… Meg’s games that I have played: 5) Dominion, 6) Sleeping Gods, 7) Charterstone, 8) Isle of Cats Explore & Draw, 9) Cthulhu: Death May Die, 10) Mythic Mischief, 11) Creature Caravan.

I played Coimbra omly at 2p and imho it works Great at two, I really like it as well. Could be better with higher player conts, but is great at two, at least for me and my wife 😅

Example: Amour cannot be used to connect “Love” and “France”. - A word in the same family as a Keyword. Example: Prince cannot be used to suggest a Pair with “Princess” and “Brother”. - Made-up words. Example: Cuppajo cannot be used to suggest a Pair with “Mug” and “Morning”. Are you claiming that Meg's clue of "Gusto" is cheating because of the second rule above???? Gusto is not "in the same family" as Wind so seems like a legit clue to me!!! Also, isn't Skulls of Sedlec smaller than For Northwood??

When I spoke of Dune Imperium Uprising last time, I was more thinking of it as a new base game, rather than an expansion. It is a difference of perception, and I see why you view it that way. BTW, thanks for talking about it.

I have played 7 on Alex list, but sold 2 of them. El Grande and Anno 1800 did not last for me and I sold them both. I have 4 from the Meg list. So for Alex overall I am now up to 35 own and 38 played out of the 90.

If I had to pick a game, it would be Dominion, again haha. I've got the Heavy Cardboard playthrough video of the new Rising Sun stuff up next. Also, just purchased Charterstone! Back when legacy/campaign games were coming out, this one appealed to me because of the mechanisms and people said it was good - later other games may have knocked this one down in comparison, but whatever. But, getting a 12 game campaign in 2025 doesn't seem like a smart move, but I'll get it done one way or another!

Alex, I'm surprised to see Inis so low! Relatively speaking, it isn't low by any means, but I'm still in shock as you are such a splendid advocate for that excellent game. About LotR Duel, I agree it's a good game, though I wasn't convinced by the theme for it. The "race" around the ring isn't a race at all, because if you actually don't get any extra distance from the nazgûl if you advance on it... Building wonders (I mean towers, I guess?) also felt weird... in one of my games, the free people built Barad-dûr, whereas Sauron build Minas Tirith... At that point, I was pretty much done with suspension of disbelief.
