That curb coming up at Indy was one of the craziest things we've had happen in a race since Mantoya hit the jet dryer. It's just so out of the realm of our normal "problems" at races.

Some forgotten wrecks: Dega Trucks last lap, Kansas Cup (Bell, Ricky, Preece), and also the red flag at Martinsville in Xfinity on Halloween

I’ve always hated it when people put crashes with injuries or serious physical and emotional distress not a number 1. Last year it wasn’t a problem, nor was it in 2016, or whatever year Aric Almirola’s crash was, but everyone glosses over Justin Haley’s concussion inducing crash that caused him to miss the Cup races at Pocono

I’ve noticed something over the past 10 years of watching NASCAR, The announcers overreact to almost every single crash and say oh hard-hit when it is not a hard-hit compared to some of the others out there yes the driver gets jostled around but you got a remember that was completely normal for NASCAR in the past you got beat around you got beat around the car which is why they made it safer so when you have these smaller crashes it’s not a worry. Jeff Gordon had how many extremely hard crashes but yet he calls almost everything he sees a hard-hit. I think they are being told to say that and that it will boost the entertainment factor of the broadcast according to NASCAR.
