There hasn't been a player like him ever since his prime days in Midnight Green. The way he moves, runs, and shakes people isn't replicated the same by anyone nowdays. The only flaw he had was his ball security but he made it work until the later years where he became slower
@here4boxing2 жыл бұрын
But he never fumbled, he just held the ball in a unorthodox way
@Kamui9162 жыл бұрын
@@here4boxing No if you watched his days with Bills/Chiefs he began fumbling more often since he wasn't as agile and fast as before anymore to avoid the easy strip tackles. I'm 100% a Shady fan all day and was so mad when Shit Kelly traded him for Kiko. I'm just able to see his fall from top RB as he got older. If he was Prime Shady tho there's no way I'm gonna disrespect the one and only #25 Midnight Green
@Kamui9162 жыл бұрын
@@here4boxing His ball carry was definitely unique compared to many players but it was also gonna catch up to him as he aged as we saw in BUFFALO/KC since he did rely on speed and agility to shake and break players ankles for days 🤣

mccoy was very flashy, but i think people are forgetting this man would get shut down bc he always tried to do to much. Never liked to lower his shoulder, would juke and lose yards. Not saying it is bad, but his playing style completely changed after 2012. 2013 was a great year tho. 2014 good year multiple bad moments though. Seattle and san fran used to clamp him up.

@@ygamltd8212 he also has 4K recieving yards, 6 pro bowls, 2 first team all pro selections 85 total touchdowns, and only 15 lost fumbles. in addition, he leads all running backs from 2010-2019 in pro bowl appearances, total yards and touchdowns en route to making the all decade team. finally, he has a pro football reference HoF moniter score of 82.51,(not including his fantastic recieving numbers in the algorithim) which is 20th all time; every player 24th or higher is in the hall of fame or is a future hall of famer, and 82.51 is a higher score than legends like tony dorsett, jerome bettis, john riggins, and larry czonka. oh, and by the way, none of the three players with 11K yards have won 2 super bowls. so i'd say that he was quite a bit more than 11K yards and 2 super bowls to contribute to his hall of fame case.
