Man, half that defense could've gone to the Hall. Ronde was the man, but without Donnie Abraham, Brian Kelly, and Lynch I doubt he would. Such an awesome defense that, in todays NFL, you will never see again.

Barber completely took over the NFC Championship game against the Eagles. Most people only remember the pick 6 but he destroyed the Eagles almost single handedly in the 2nd half.

I disagree that Ronde success was only due to other players. Ronde was an amazing player and was even great on some very bad teams after the good defense and other Buc legends were long gone!!!!! Canton!

Only big play missing was 40 years ago. Easily the best Bucs offensive play in the 1979 NFC title game. The amazing halfback option play from Eckwood to Mucker. Completion gave a glimmer of hope for a possible score and a Super Bowl appearance in only season #4!

I was at a few of these including #42, the '82 Bills game with the Lee Roy Selmon forced fumble that saved the game & eventually the season as they made the playoffs for the last time before the 15 year drought! The interception by Barber vs Phi, in the NFC Championship Game, was probably the most memorable moment for me in football. I was in a room the size of a large closet, with 5 other friends, watching this via a projector, on to the wall. When this pic happened. People could hear us screaming, yelling, jumping, hugging, and (falling down, and breaking furniture,) across the street.

Love it! You actually have plays that I remember when I was a kid in the late 80s. I had forgotten how well Dilfer played at one time and what a pretty ball he threw. I was at a lot of those games and saw the Vernon Turner first punt return and the Spurlock first kickoff return. It was fun to relive King and Dunn with their heads up plays. Thanks for the video!

I was at the Bucs vs Bears game in 1998 when Dilfer threw that hail mary pass to Brice Hunter when the clock hit zero. RIP Brice Hunter.

You gotta understand the depth of futility to really appreciate Spurlock's kickoff return. Over 1800 + returns in team history without a kickoff return TD. The close-call almost TDs. The "flag on the play " returns. The bumblin', fumblin' returns. The constant reminders from announcers, "Bucs to return the kick, time to go to grab a snack or hit the restroom! " Some teams have had 2 return TDs in one game and the Bucs just kept on missing. I'd put that return in the top 5 of loudest moments in Raymond James Sradium history as well. No video or TV replay can do justice to how insanely loud and crazy that stadium was during that moment!

Best defense ever. People sleep on that Defense historically usually not mentioned. You will hear Steelers and Ravens and Bears and even fucking Seattle over my Buccaneers and straight up I watched all those but Tampa brought it for years on defense and damn they were so good. We got one ring, but we had no offense and the Rams vs Buccaneer rivalry was nasty had to deal with farve in the cold when they young but eventually overcame both those team's with great defense and a sprinkle of Mike Allstot. Derrick Brooks was so good, rarely discussed. Warren Sapp was the best DT I've watched straight up. Warren so fast for a big guy. He came off the ball and just destroyed whoever your best o lineman you got

Oh my God, the meaningless Spurlock return isn't the #3 play in team history and certainly isn't ahead of the Rams-Bucs 2000 Dunn-King play. Come on, that's just stupid. BUT, I very much enjoyed the list. BTW, the NFL Throwback did a fantastic piece on Alstott, and while the Vikings run and the Cleveland run stand out, it's amazing how many amazing runs he had. If you ever do another of these I highly recommend checking out that video and getting tape from there as it's in great quality - and the pure quantity of amazing runs is unbelievable - stuff no one remembers but he was doing every single week.

How bad was TV years past - grainy. Should have Alstott run against Falcons where he knock the helmet of the defender. Nice list i would have had #2 Alstott 1st TD in super bowl history and #1 m spurlock TD kickoff. Both are historic in buc history
