Used the striker as01 for an entire season last Summer and thought sniping was just a big learning curve.. nearing the end of the season I borrowed another players SSG24 for a few rounds and absolutely dominated the field. The Striker As01 was a humbling rifle to say the least. Will I ever use it again since my SSG96 came in? Nope. I’ll never touch it or recommend it ever again lol. At least toss the SSG10 up there though! Affordable, durable and has warranty🤷🏼‍♂️

It would be neat if Crosman would make a commemorative version of this with real wood stock, but of course it would weigh more and cost more, but hey, it would be cool. The included scope is more of a toy, but it does work for backyard plinking. I prefer to use pellets for greater accuracy, but BBs are just as good for plinking. This is not a Red Ryder folks; fully pumped it is 3 times the power of a Red Ryder and can be dangerous if not handled properly. Be safe out there.

Bollocks, the srs has slapped the vsr10 from its throne, you have to rebuild the entirety of the vsr to get it to shoot even close to what the srs can with a mere spring change. I’ve owned a vsr for a long time before the srs A1 came out. I’ll never go back 😂

from price wise, probably vsr10 is the first choice even when fully upgraded with the best parts, it's possibly still cheaper than a stock srs-a1. Besides that, SRS-A1 is not comfortable to cock when in prone position. just my 2 cents

@@tanayayt9283don’t get me wrong the vsr can be made to be a great RIF but I personally spent more on the vsr only to have the srs beat it out of the box, not to mention the price point is down to build quality too which the srs is king. Being a smaller guy I don’t have any problems with racking the bolt on the srs in any position, but that was more learning a way of doing it and doing some home mods to make the pull easier like removing the bolt lug and removing some material around the bolt area to be able to cock it back at any angle and being able to throw it back in without the need to keep to it’s original track so to speak. Also when it comes to parts availability now the srs only falls short when it comes to the stock but that’s what you buy the srs for in the first place.

The Modify MOD24 isn't modeled after any airsoft sniper, it's literally just an M24 SWS. Ya know, the former standard issue 7.62x51mm sniper rifle of the US Army for like 30 years. C'mon Mark🤦‍♂️

The SSG24 and Mod24 are both modeled after the M24 SWS, hence the *24* number. It's literally one of the most famous and iconic sniper rifles of all time since it was used by the military for decades, but Mark credits Novritsch despite this being obviously not an original design

Literally any higher fps AEG with an optic and midly tuned internals. Most fields are far too small for the simple AEG to be outranged to the point to call for a dedicated sniper rifle. Would recommend new players looking to play a marksman role just work towards building a "DMR".

don’t forget the emg barrett field craft. ssg 10 performance or bettter with a much more affordable price. rn it’s $219 which is a steal for 550 fps and a feather trigger. you don’t need to mod it cause it has exceptional performance but you still can, vsr 10 compatible. go check them out, they have a few colors and add on packages you can look at

You forgot the m24sf has adjustable trigger weight trigger pull and is solid as a tank I stripped mine to fit it in my rifle case last Sunday (I ride a motorcycle and use it to go Airsoft ) and it went back together perfectly and shot like a dream I think it should be higher than number 7 as it’s the base for novritchs rifles which he then makes into a bag of shit personally I rate it very highly for the price and even arosft gi said it’s an out the box nov beater any day

Gas powered snipers are a lot more incosistant. The Spring version, the best option are the 100% VSR10 compatible one are te go to Sniper Rifles.

Mark, got a little problem here, and I would GREATLY appreciate it if you or someone can help. I live in Thailand, and they are incredibly restrictive on ANYTHING related to ANY type of 'gun' even airsofts. Your company said they cannot ship to Thailand, yet I purchased a RedWolf cylinder/piston assembly a few weeks ago, ( from a very low-level shop but it is literally the only one in the city!! They have no Snow Wolf parts, no hop-up chambers that will fit, and also tell me it will take them 2-3 months to restock, they actually have no idea how long. My problem is I need some steel trigger parts, since I also bought an M170 spring. I cannot find the steel sear/trigger-bar/piston-stop that I need. Can you recommend a way to get Red Wolf trigger parts here, or can I order some and have them sent in the ol' "plain brown wrapper"? Thanks.
