I like watching the parades at the downtown station for the train. ( when not all skrimmed up). The parade ends at that part of the street. They continue performing until they go by there and behind the gate. It’s like a front row seat!!

@@gabbyjay68 Download the Disneyland app and familiarize yourself with it. On the Home Screen is an option for Virtual Queues. At 7 AM on the day of your Disneyland reservation you’ll be able to join a virtual queue in that area of the app. It’ll have your eligible tickets already populated there and you just push “Join Queue” and you’ll be added to a boarding group. When your boarding group is called (it might be several hours later), you’ll get a notification that it’s time to go to the ride and you’ll have 1 hour to ride it.

We didn’t time Rise of the Resistance well so had to wait a long time but as people who had never done the ride before, it was 100% worth the wait. I probably would wait two hours if I had to (if I hadn’t been and was leaving Disney). It’s that good. Mind boggling in fact.

I wasn’t aware of that closure from 8pm to 10pm…caught us by surprise. Not anymore…we thought we would be able to enjoy Toon Town with minimal crowds but nope…😅 I followed all your tips to rope drop and it worked out perfectly. Really love your videos. Watching this one now with a split screen to a word document tip sheet I'm making for our upcoming Disney trip. Your tips have been so helpful! For a future video idea, I would love to see you do an ideal "leisurely" day at Disneyland and an ideal "busy" day. We're going to try a mix of leisurely and busy days for our trip, because that is what works best for our group. Interestingly, I'm finding it harder to plan the leisurely day! When I was there at the end of May, people where getting Lightening Lane at rope drop, moving rides like Space to out an hour or even longer. And it made the wait time at rope drop seem to take forever.

I know it's California, but have you ever thought about doing a video regarding the weather? I strategically planned my surprise DL trip with my parents on a forecasted rainy day in December last year and that helped with December crowds post school semesters ending. Also, in Tokyo Disneyland they don't have single rider lines from what I saw. I went alone and sometimes I would have a whole row/vehicle by myself or I was next to a family. I think it depended on ride popularity, vehicle layout, and the staff member. They always kept families and groups/couples together at the very least. Also, great video.

I rode 5 Fantasyland rides in 26 minutes two weeks ago in my second attempt at riding 10 attractions in an hour. Also did canoes and Mark Twain later in the day. These are two of the best original attractions that if you did them (for real) on vacation elsewhere you would have to pay a lot to experience. It is awesome that Disney has these.

Indiana Jones is historically my rope drop ride. As a kid, my ritual was to start the day in Disneyland at that ride, even if it isn’t rope drop. My last ride of the day at park close is usually Space Mountain.

Yes, Harbor and Katella are two of the busiest roads, so it's a very populated and well lit area.

You totally forgot to mention a couple of the most exclusive rides at Disneyland that aren’t found at Disneyworld: Roger Rabbit’s Cartoon Spin and Alice in Wonderland. Autopia is also very unique and much better than Tomorrowland Speedway.

That is correct. Fireworks are only on weekends right now. Projections Monday through Thursday. It’s the same show and music, just without the fireworks.

There are only four rides my family and I would like to go on. Rise, Smuggler's, star tours and Mr.toad's. Do I need a multipass for them? we're also planning to stay from opening to closing time.

@@titaniagasca2839 Not for four rides, no. Mr. Toad’s and Rise aren’t even on Multi-Pass either. If you plan to ride other things it can be helpful, but not necessary. My family and I usually go ride crazy and find it reduces a lot stress having LLMP.

Do you recommend starting at the park that isn’t early entry if not staying at a Disney hotel. We are coming for 5 days split over 2 weeks. First 3 days are Nov 12,13 and 14. I had booked to do Disney, dca and Disney but should I do dca, Disney, dca since the early entry for Disney is tue and Thu or will it not matter so much on those weekdays? We have park hopper and LL multi.

I have a question regarding the 9:00 AM recommendation for Rise of the Resistance. If the opening of the ride is delayed beyond 8:00 AM, do you just push back what time you go to it the same amount of time? If it opens at 8:15 AM, should I go at 9:15 AM or does the initial crowd wander off if it’s not open and the 9:00 AM window is still best?

I find somewhere between 9 and 10 to still be best. It doesn’t need to be 9 on the dot. The idea is to just let initial surge die down.

Single ride on Matterhorn is absolutely awful. Why do I say this? Because Matterhorn tracks are split to left and right side, with Lightning Lane going to the left side and Single rider line going to the right. The right side is the roughest ride of the two, Matterhorn is basically unrideable at that point, so Single rider on Matterhorn sucks.

Once again, untrue. I’m sorry to say. There is a single rider line on BOTH sides. The lightning lane uses the regular standby queue after the merge point. And the RIGHT side (Fantasyland) is actually the smoother side.

Concerning LL for Indy; my wife uses a wheelchair, so we could do a return time for that ride, but we do intend to buy LL for our day there next March. If we use a LL for it, would we not bypass a lot more line than those who go through regular queue? Since, either way, we go thru the exit.

I’m not sure how the wheelchair situation works for most rides as I’ve never accompanied a guest with a wheelchair. I do know that Indy does have you go through the exit, but that might mean you’ve done waiting elsewhere. Similar to DAS almost. But again, I’m not positive how that works.

It’s not a big deal here. I almost always end up going to the early entry park and don’t encounter much difficulty. It’s only if you’re trying for either Guardians or Peter Pan for their respective parks.

Our family will be a at Disneyland late 2:05 November. I recently had knee replacement surgery and will be using an electric scooter. Have you done a video on access to the rides for those using scooters or wheelchairs? Or do you have any information or suggestions?

@@rbccplayers6689 I don’t have a video, no. Most of the newer rides can accommodate ECVs in the line. Others, you have to go through the exit. The cast member at the front of the line will be able to assist you with the procedure for each ride. There are a few fantasyland rides that don’t have cast members outside, but if you go to the exit, that’s where you’ll want to go because those rides don’t have room in line for the ECV.

Off topic, please help. Our friends are going to Downtown Disney tomorrow but mostly for Storyteller's Cafe. Where should they park?? If they park at the hotel, they'll get 3 hours but how much does it cost if they end up there longer? If they park DTD area, where? How much does it cost? TIA

@@needanap2needanap232 The Downtown Disney parking entrance is right next to Pixar Place Hotel. But since the restaurant is at the Grand Californian, and if they get 3 hours, I would just have them park there. I don’t know how much it is if they stay longer. But eating should only take 60-90 minutes. That leaves them with another 1-2 hours to enjoy downtown Disney.

Smugglers Run is never busy in Singlerider because it’s A. Meant to be ridden by a group of people, and B. This awful ride isnt even that popular and the standby line is probably 5-10 minutes anyways

I fully disagree about Lightning Lane Multipass, you can 100% do everything in 1 day without it, especially considering when you rope drop and do all the correct strategies with every other ride. Lightning Lane Multipass is absolutely 100% not necessary.

@@himynameiscorey I would like to disagree back. Because using every hack I know, with Lightning Lane, I only completed 27 of 34 rides in a single day when I attempted it. And that didn’t include any shows, parades, fireworks, etc. and we were booking it. Very little down time.
