Shaman is one of my favorite minis. Together with the Spearthroll and his healing you can get a nearly unkillable combo

Some of my tride and true F2P units have been Poison on my Darkspear Troll, and Dark Iron Armaments on my Dark Iron Miner. I think miner is a very useful card in general for remote gold farming and disruption for the enemy.

I use those same talents on mine as well! I also have the regeneration on Troll. Good talents, but do not make quite as big of a difference compared to untalented minis as the ones in this video, I think. Both minis are excellent without talents too.

Thanks, been asking for this list from many creators! Prowler beast damage talent is wild with Beast de ks. Use frost wolf Shaman with Abomination for max effective HP!

I still dream of building and testing some proper Beast synergy decks. I even picked Command for my Grunts in preparation for that, but I have not had the time to work it all out. I also have a Rare Prowler with the Beast damage talent waiting to be used.

@@OldGuardian I am a big fan of grunts, I used them quite a lot with Old murkeye and I'm pretty sure it will not work. Simply because of movement speed. Grunts are really slow, and most of the beasts are quite fast. So most likely scenario - your beasts will outrun your grunts and get killed before grunts have a chance to arrive at the battle scene. The only way it can work - if you plan to defend your tower/meeting stone and drop beasts right on top of your grunts in the heat of the battle.

@@OldGuardian old murkeye feels like the most flexible deck that can use plenty of beasts that also benefits from the speed of the prowlers as murlocs are fast.

@@OldGuardian I really like Prowler with Murk-Eye since it is just as fast as the rest of the wave! Since Murk-Eye decks have such crazy damage but not much HP it works well with Sheep spell and unbound tanks. Haven't tried it with Grunts yet, unclear how they would fit in as they are both slow and expensive.

All minis are better with talents, there is no doubt about that. It's just that some change more than others.

Is Safe Pilot still a top 12 mini following the nerf? Which is the best talent now?

Talents are perhaps even more important for her now than before after the base damage nerf. My early impression is that the nerf made Cloaking Device better compared to Comin' in Hot.

I went for predatory instinct with prowler and I think it's a very good choice as well. Oneshots a lot of unit

I just love to stun things, but yeah, I know people also like the damage talent on Prowler. Should have perhaps mentioned it.

I agree, on the other side, you have to take in to account that 2x damage is actually useful only if an enemy has at least HP>4 times Prowler base damage; Basically, against enemy who have enough HP to survive Blizzard. (8 times to be fully useful)(when you get it completely fresh) Stealth on the other side is good and add something new to the mini, but is usually useful to avoid being attacked while out-ranged by enemy minis. The fact is, Prowler close combat really fast.. And a stealthed prowler can't really counter a Stealthed Huntress (!) Sure, prowler stun is good but Predatory instincts will give more damage output, at least against tanks, which are the primary Prowler targets.

I honestly don’t get the cold snap blizzard love. It seems more like bad player coverage than good talent as if placed properly blizzard kills most that it would damage wise.

Cold Snap means that the entire area of Blizzard is a kill zone. Without the talent, maybe half of it is. The talent effectively doubles the area of effect against moving units, AND it slows them down to give you more time to prepare defenses. Without the talent, you need to wait for the engagement to start to get the full effect, taking damage to your own troops or towers.
