The Icon A5 is a $400k certified aircraft, it was originally supposed to cost $179K and be flown by inexperienced pilots but that has proven to be wrong.

Any "ultralight" that has an engine with more the 40HP is NOT an ultralight in the USA btw. Of course, there is a thriving market in after market engine boosting kits!.... 🙂
