The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is an action-adventure video game developed and published by Nintendo for the Nintendo Switch and Wii U video game consoles. Cyan Froakie asked a great question. For the balloon at Hyrule Castle, I used a bow with a range of 40. This includes the Swallow Bow, Falcon Bow, Great Eagle Bow, Phrenic Bow, Ancient Bow, and the Duplex Bow. (The Twilight bow also works, range of 8000)

A bow with zoom like the Golden Bow works great as well as they shots fly straighter, it does change the shot to be lower than the wall you pointed out.

This is my first time hearing of the Zora Domain one, and I still got the Gerudo Town seed (I spent 85% of my playthrough latched to the side of a wall so I found a lot of seeds on peaks)

For the one on top of the boat house in Lurelin Village, I just put the rock directly next to the bottom of the structure and attached 2 octo balloons to it. It floated naturally over it and when the balloons popped, it landed directly where it needed to.

You could also cut down a tree next to the boat house and just walk up holding the rock

I tried the same thing, but the rock didn't float where it needed to, so if anyone wants to try this strategy, I recommend attaching 2 octo balloons to a rock next to the boat, then using stasis on the rock when the rock has floated to the top, then shooting a bomb arrow at the rock. This is the only strategy that worked for me.

@@Emma_Wrox here is another tip to find koroks (the rock and acorn ones especialy) use statis to highlight every colectible around you as well as all movable object) it's also very useful to collect ingredients. I use that a lot. And another tip: for achery korok, use ancien bow (the best bow in the game in my opinion). It's very precise bow as the arrows goes straight. I also use ancien bow for very long range kills

There is one korok in North Akkala Region that you have to throw a rock using stasis in a hole located at the other side of the field (pretty far), there is even a Lynel in the middle of the way that you probably have to beat to make things easier. The hardest one to me.

The rock formation at Lorelin has an easier solution... On the opposite side of the boat house, there's a tree that hangs over the boat. If You cut it at the right angle it'll lean up against it, grab a rock and carefully walk up the tree onto the boat house. Took me 40 seconds when I noticed it.

I used octorok balloons, then pushed the rocks with a korok leaf. Another easy way of doing it.

Just did this Korok in my MM run thought "oh wtf this one again". I cut down the same tree and it didn't land right. It landed along the side. Put a ballon in one end, let it rise, stasis, and just ran up it. Was so damn surprised to do this one first try i was in disbelief!

This video actually helped me a lot because I don't normally hunt for korok seeds, I just like to stumble across them randomly. Hence I miss A LOT of them.

Son Goku I started looking for the randomly, but now I set aside several hours a week just to look for the seeds (the online interactive map has the ability to let you check off the seeds as you find them and have the map delete found items, so the only ones left on the map are seeds you don't have yet-I wish I had done it from the beginning, checking off as I went, since it took a few hours to go through and check what I had off). They seem to be found in the same several places (under rocks, using magnetic puzzles, finishing stone circles/shapes, chasing the ring, hitting acorns or balloons, flowers and pinwheels (there are some others, but these are the most common). Having that korok mask really helps to narrow down their locations without using the map

Hated that one bcs my inventory was full of good weapons. I had to set up a cryonis block, put one of my weapons on it, climb back up, get the tree branch, acquire the korok, throw the branch, and get my weapon back. Took 5 tries.

Theres a puzzle i call “boulder golf” where theres a hole and then some distance away usually up a hill theres a boulder or three to roll into it. Normally its a piece of cake but theres one puzzle in deep akkala where the boulders are on one hill, the hole is on an opposing one and in the valley between is a silver lynel. It took me the better part of an hour using stasis to send it just a little over the hole and then making minute adjustments to get it in without overamping and loosing control and making the rock crash back down the hill. Rain didnt exactly improve the experience

I went to the opposite direction to find a boulder covering Korok rock. Getting this one to the hole was much more difficult, and it did nothing.

somewhere in the farron region there is a puzzle where they have a set of two magnetic rocks connected by a chain and you have to balance them on two little rock islands. it took me forever to realize that i could use stasis on one so it would stay.

It's very much apparent that an INSANE amount of work went into this game! That's why I am in no rush whatsoever to get BOTW2, I figure it will be done when it's done. Let them have time to work their magic. If we can get a game that's even close to as good & detail rich as the first one was then we will be in for a real treat!

6:10 I got the Korok here by cutting one of the trees, which then falls unto the house to act as a bridge. I froze that tree using stasis, picked up a stone and walk throuh that tree to reach to top of the house while carrying the stone. I got the clue to solve that by seeing 2 axes submerged into a nearby waterfall, thus suggesting to cut the trees to solve the puzzle

i never imagined that jumping over fences was one of the ways of getting a korok seed; that's what I thought was genius of adding much more seeds than you actually need; by the time I was ready to finish my playthrough, I was only missing about 9 seeds to get my last inventory slot, so I only really "looked" for about 9, and probably passed by a lot of jumpable fences in the process.

#13 should've been the one on top on top of hyrule castle I stumbled on that one though like "what happens if I climb all the way up?" I think it should've been this one because its just so weird to climb.... Its not difficult just really oddly/uniquely placed

I don't think any seed on top of a high structure could be classed as difficult. After a short time playing you realise that pretty much any high peak or building is gonna have a seed at the top, so you say goodbye to a few minutes of your life and head up to get it. The only surprise comes if there isn't one there, which is doubly thrilling if you went up in the rain... :P

For the flying acorn type, you can use stasis on the acorns, shoot them, and they'll break once they fly off and hit the ground. Stasis is also helpful if you're having trouble finding them--they glow yellow. Also this might just be me, but the hardest seed for me was just west of the Akkala blue flame--there are a few rocks you have to get into a hole, but the trick is you have to push them down the hill, PAST A LYNEL, then UP ANOTHER HILL into the hole. It took me nearly an hour of stasis and wasting weapons, until I finally caved and used an amiibo to spawn a chest and used that to push the rock up the hill. Doesn't help that if you move wrong, the rock will roll all the way back down and you'll have to start over.

Pro tip: you can use stasis+ on those little korok pots and there is no penalty to using it, all you have to do is freeze it in midair and then shoot it with a single arrow. (This probably works with regular stasis but I do not know for sure)

I know it’s been 3 years and you probably moved on from BOTW, but I’m playing it for the first time! Your my favorite go-to guy for BOTW so thanks for going through any hardships playing this game! I wanted to share something about the korok seed that is over Kakariko bridge where you have to throw a rock into the stone ring. My comment is mainly for people who are struggling still with this. Instead of using an ice block (Ironically, I used an ice block like shown in this video for the korok seed at Bosh Kala korok seed in the river.) I took the stone, jumped up to the 2 stone to the left as seen in the video to get on that highest point, walked forward until Link’s feet are half way off the stone edge and took my free throw. Got it on my 3rd try with no re-load.

With the one in the Lurelin Village I just took a rock and placed it near the boat. Then I attached 2 oktorok balloons to it. When it is above the boat, paralyze the rock and shot it some arrows to push it to the boat :D

An easier way to get the rock on the house in Lurilen village is by chopping the straight tree down that is part of the fence for the cow pasture. You have to hit it with stasis at the right time or it will fall to the ground, but if you time it right it makes an easy ramp to walk across while carrying a rock that is conveniently placed right by it.

yeah the thing is after the 400 and something one there isn't even a reward to finding more and i decided i would only get enough to max out my inventory and not get a single extra even if i stumble across it. i too would have liked for the divine beasts to be more in depth. I get the shrines are puzzles too but i really miss the major dungeons that actually took awhile to beat and gave you a huge sense of satisfaction when you beat it. Maybe instead of having all these useless korok seeds they could have just had a Korok champion and a divine beast associated with it.

There is a reward when you get 900 and then go back to Hestu. He gives you a golden turd. It does nothing and I don't think you can sell it. You really need the 450-ish to be able to upgrade all your weapon and shield stashes, but it's nice that they made it more than double for the game so that it's easier to max them out. Having a Korok champion, fighting Hestu, or another Divine Beast past the 5 they offer would just make the game really tedious since finding all 900 isn't really a primary intent of the game.

I like the divine beasts, but I do wish that they were a little longer and had more enemies and minibosses. This can somewhat be excused because each dungeon had a pre-boss that makes up for the lack of a miniboss and because the shrines have a huge number of interesting dungeon-like puzzles to make up for how short the divine beast dungeons are. But it still would have been pretty nice to make the divine beasts bigger. Or... another possibility would have been making a separate set of dungeons in addition to the divine beasts. After all, most 3D Zelda games have two "sets" of dungeons that play different roles in the story. Maybe put a dungeon instead of a shrine at each of the 3 springs? The story quest associated with these dungeons could be related to the dragons. The dungeons could be mechanically similar to traditional dungeons or divine beasts, or they could be completely different from both. But I guess the game is done, and I'm just being fanfiction-y. I still do like what's already in the game quite a bit.

I agree .the divine beasts and shrines are okay but all the divine beasts feel the same and the shrines where more mini puzzle dungeons I wish the dungeons where more in depth like themes to do with the wild like an animal dungeon also I think the game lacks story all you are told is get you can get shines and towers you have to defeat calamity ganon obtain divine beasts all the story of 100 and 1000 years ago which I think is a bit plain and get the maser sword that’s it there is much more story in the other games

I can name three 1: the one all the way up at the TIPPITY TOP ot the highest spike in Hyrule castle 2: also in Hyrule castle, behind one of the bombable walls, there will be a chest... BUT ABOVE THAT you will find a Korok jar just chillin, just sitting there, and you have to kill it by shooting an arrow at it 3: at the top of the highest mountain in Hebra, you will find one solitary rock, and that rock is hiding a Korok

I found one purely by accident by flying from Faron tower to the Sarjon bridge. If you fly in a straight line, you’ll see a balloon tucked under a leaf on a tree, it would be really hard to see otherwise, it’s right by the bridge.

I'd recommend waiting for the DLC pack 1 for korok hunting instead of using a map. I've already done them but had i known there was an aid for korok seed hunting coming i would have waited. Also, the korok where you need to get the rock on the roof of the hut is much easier if you cut a tree down to make a ramp up onto the roof of the hut and just carry the rock up there instead of using stasis. You should always keep stocked up with golden bows for korok hunting as well. They have the zoom/scope so the long distance targets are easy to hit. In the video, you are using a real bad bow for the job and probably why you found it so hard. It took me 1 or 2 shots and didn't need to turn motion controls off. ;)

Thanks for the tips. I am (re)playing for the 10th time this fabulous game of BotW and decided to do the side quest of catching all those cute Koroks. The worst ones for me are the speedy ones, like the one near the Gerudo Canyon Stable where you need to go on top of a platform, activate the timer and run run run. For number 4, I used 2 octo balloons to have a nearby stone fly then stasis then hit it with an arrow twice I think to fall on op of that roof ... I love it how you can achieve the same result through almost infinite different ways. With korok number 9, I found out that in some of these you can actually jump and use slow motion to shoot these fast nuts !

Hebra. For the Lurelin rock formation I cut down a tree to make a bridge. Even then I had to do it three times because I kept dropping the rock while trying to get on the stupid tree. 😩

Basically anything weird, or anything that makes you think "What is that" or just random things you can interact with are Korok, here are some of the comon ones Flowers Rock shapes Large tree stumps with a leaf symbol on them Circles of lily pads in water (you have to dive in the middle of them) Rock basketball in the water Pinwheels Magnesis blocks puzzles Also another tip is always try using magnesis around puddles and other bodies of water, there will sometimes be metal balls, or multiple attached to chains, that need to be put in hollowed out tree stumps and the like

There's at least one on top of every town with a divine beast. I'd replace the last one with the one in akkala by the lynel that requires you to 1. kill the lynel then 2. use stastis, momentum, pinpoint accuracy, and luck to whack the boulder down the hill and into the hole. (I gave up on it after breaking two weapons and the master sword)

Their are lots of tutorials for them but I remember you go to a location near a stable and do a horseback race, but you turn around and climb a hill/mountain on the horse then paraglide down onto one of the horses bellow and be taming it right when the timer runs out. A really easy and fun glitch.
