These legendary artist understood the concept of legacy and building a world class brand. They respect the craft, these young artist on the other hand is treating the craft like a hustle chasing hype and eat a food versus building world class legacy and true wealth like the Marley Family. Good video Teach Dem,these timeless aspect of the culture is needed.

Teach...sometimes we have to let go to heal. But I say why when ppl see others making their lives meaningful..they do not do the same with theirs. Why disturb others. The devil is always busy anyway. That's the explanation. One day I said to someone, the devil is always busy and the person replied by saying, "which devil?" "A human beings a di devil." I thought to myself, that person has a valid point.

Commendations to you, Teach, as just writing the script alone must have cost you a lot of time. Your message to the younger artists is spot on. I will say, however, that Chronixx seems to understand that it's substance over hype. I thoroughly enjoy his new album. There are some gems on there and the writing is impeccable.

+sherwood991 This took me about 7 hours Sher, after i did the voice overs i realized that i had recorded them over the computer microphone instead of my designated recording microphone, that was a nightmare sigh. Took most of my day but the work must go on. Yeah and as usual some names are missing but that will get the discussions going i hope haha. Really means alot that you sense the struggles behind this one. Chronixx is a wise fellow.

Dennis Brown was also a student of the great "Sir Coxone Dodd". The Gong himself "BOB MARLEY" , was also a protoge of "Sir Coxone Dodd". As a matter of fact Coxone was like a surrogate father. Bob and Rita used to live/board with Coxone. He was the one who encouraged them to get married. All the big names in ska and reggae were Protoges of the legendary "Clement Coxone Dodd". So it is virtually impossible to talk about JAMAICA's music with out mentioning a pioneer who played a seminal part in its development. Clement Seymour "Coxone" Dodd

This is an excellent episode! However, there are a few statements that are incorrect. It was the Gleaner that labelled Dennis Brown the " crown Prince" and not Marley; Tosh was assassinated: the so-called robbery was a cover up ( some in high places were offended by his political remarks at the Peace Concert Garnett Silk was a legend before he died. Why did you omit Bunny Wailer and Toots?

Clement "Coxone" Dodd , Sir Coxone, Studio One Label should have been mentioned regarding Delroy Wilson's formative years. Delroy's first recording, "Emy Lou" at age 14, was for Clement Dodd. Also Delroy Wilson's first LP I Shall Not Remove, was a Studio One Gem. Recorded at age 16. In 1964, 5 years later in 1969 his second LP "Feel Good All Over" , 3 years later in 1972 The Best of Delroy original 12 , for Legendary producer Clement "Coxone" Dodd, were also Gems. So how could you have omitted those Important bits of information. Understandably the information is about the artist and not about the producer, but you have made mention of producers who were not as instrumental as Clement Dodd, regarding Wilson's formative years. you have made a colossal blunder, by your omission of Clement Dodd, and it is a big disservice to one of the pioneers of JAMAICA's music. CLEMENT SEYMOUR DODD aka. Sir Coxone.
