If you slow it down the first knife flew out of the handle before it hit the rock. I noticed this on 2 other knives in other videos. Maybe it breaks on the previous hit or maybe he stages it after it breaks for more dramatic effect of it flying far away.

@@joex Not Stage as in fake. What I meant is that it broke off on the hit and fell anticlimactic so you stuck it back and made it fly. Went back to look at the other video where I saw this happen before it turns out it was the same knife in your TOP 35 OVERHYPED/OVERPRICED so my bad. By the way I caught it in real time then slowed it down and I thought it was weird that it breaks on the hit and stays in the handle but flys off on the swing. Love your videos was introduced to you channel from DBK.

I've collected & used many brands, models & styles of knives in my 74 years, but the Mora's are the most value for the price. I only recently discovered the model 749 2 years ago & I was so impressed that I bought two. What a great knife to keep in the pack for camp food prep; so long, thin & slicy that it's fun to use. I've learned so much since I subscribed to your channel. Your content just reinforces for me the phrase, "A tool for every purpose & a purpose for every tool". I've never had any "size & weight constraints" reservations regarding carrying multiple blades in my pack because I feel they are on the top of the list for me when functioning in the woods. Keep up the great work.

Been using Robust for few years now, absolutely phenomenal knife. only downside is its shortness; it should be 1/2 to 1" longer on blade side. overall nearly impossible to beat in ~15 euros range for sure.

I only have one Morakniv and it is the Mora Companion Carbon Steel.. Ive had it for many years now.. I keep it attached to my backpack and it is one of my dedicated camping knives. Another AWESOME video Joe X ! - some of these Mora's I have never even heard of like the Garberg and 749! Thank God for eye protection.. but always protect your nuts my man! Keep up the good work bro.. we appreciate the hard work you put into these videos!

I think it says a lot about Mora that a 15 dollar knife is so durable. Personally I think Mora is best value for money the LESS you spend. Their knives get better the more you pay, but not proportionally to the cost. I have a Mora Black and its great, but I could have bought seven Mora Pro Robusts for the same cash. Thank you for your hard work mate. I hope you have a good physiotherapist and lots of ibuprofen for your swollen hands.

Excellent video!!! A Morakniv Robust and a 12 inch Tramontina machete is an awesome cheap combo. Also they´re light and portable. Here, in Brazil, Tramontina makes a stainless steel 12 inch machete (tramontina facão inox) that can make a good combo with a stainless steel Mora for camping and outdoor activities on the beach.

The mora pro is a beast. And it’s a pretty good carver to. I got my hands on a couple of Frost Mora knives. My favorite knife atm. Laminated carbon steel. The 106 sløyd knife. Stick tank and a Woden handle. Wonder how it would hold up to this test. The handle will go first I think. The steel is pretty effing good

Stop a truck that is going in the direction of the coast and bring a few kilos of broken blades to immerse them in the sea. To check the rust resistance.
