Picked up Metal Rain on a blind buy and love it. I use it before bed and really enjoy the scent while I'm just relaxing or falling asleep. Also works well on rainy days.

I got my no. 17 Oud today and I really love it. However, when my wife came home she asked if I had sprayed insect repellent lol! It’s an acquired scent I guess… I immediately get the rose and the fireplace smokiness, and with only 3 sprays I fill up the room for the first 2 hours.

Yeah I have a few of them including oud mosaic. I thought it smelled like flowers and cow shit. Pure white is pleasant but feminine imo. Tobacco and Tonka bean smells very good but I don't see myself wearing it.

Have both the Dark cherry and amber and Tonka Bean and tobacco. He is 100 percent right about the descriptions. Dark cherry is awesome but only last maybe 2 hrs. Tonka smells awesome and last between 4-6 hrs.

I picked up Metal Rain for under 30 and I must say it is pleasant. On my skin it becomes very subtle but works nice on my clothing and seems to activate with my body heat. It’s one to be discovered versus announced.

Idk if you ever smelt their Republic of Men cologne. It’s discontinued now but man it’s great! I have a tiny 1 oz that I baby. Really good plum opening. With a powdery woody finish. You can’t find it anywhere anymore. You lucky to get your nose on it now.

I mix 1/2 tonka 1/4 dark cherry and 1/4 gardenia and the ladies love it. My only 3 are tonka, gardenia and dark cherry the rest i will pass on. Men don't pass up gardenia when layered right its a lady magnet, people often ask if i am wearing baccarat rouge 540

I have 10 in the Icon line and love it. I do not own Peony & Peppercorn, 90 Pure White, Gardenia & Cardamom, nor 17 Oud Mosaic, probably because I’m not a big floral or oud guy. I do like the Cool Water/Green Irish Tweed vibe, so of course I’m Grassland fan. I LOVE cypress, so Cypress & Cedar is my #1. I haven’t thought of this as a Xmas fragrance before as I usually think of cypress as a spring/green note. But I’ll take it! Love the list and video…thanks!

I have both Metal Rain and Vintage Green. Love them both. Next one I wanna get is Cypress Cedar. I had to return Oud Mosaic because it smells like mothballs in an old lady closet. I just can't see myself wearing it. I love Tom Ford Oud Wood and it smells great. Oud Mosaic is just nasty on my skin. If someone wanna get it, better sample it first.

I really like the Icon line. They WERE cheap. ..not anymore. I am glad I jumped on these. I have about 12 of these. They are very pleasant and non- offensive. Great bang for the buck. I just wish they were stronger. But my favorites are: Neroli Woods, Vintage Green and Black Rain. Oh and also Oud Mosaic. Like I said..I have all but 3 or 4.

if you like cypress cedar, you may like atelier cologne's atlas cedar. I happen to have both and out of curiosity, I sprayed each on my hands, and I prefer it over BR's offering, better quality and more niche-like.

Haha, I say the exact same thing about Cypress Cedar, and I can't quite place it: It reminds me of a cozy thanksgiving or christmas gathering. This might be an unpopular opinion, but for me it's a 100% cold winter daytime fragrance. Perfect for morning coffee with the family on christmas.

Love the video and I was lucky to be able to find both the Grassland and Metal Rain for 19.99 at my local Burlington Coat Factory. To me grassland smell like the Irish Spring Soap to me. Metal Rain almost remind me of the Black Platinum but a little softer. But I had to get a backup of Tobacco and Tonka Bean.

Very nice job on this list ... great descriptions of each. I have to admit that I pretty much only use my Banana Republic fragrances to spray on pillows and sheets as the performance is generally pretty lackluster. I'm a collector and felt the need to have them, but I won't replace them when they're gone. But scent is very subjective and my opinion, plus a nickel, is worth exactly five cents. Keep up the great reviews!
