When I first startedout I mostly focused on the Avengers and thought that Electro was kinda crap... Luckily I saw the light early on, after seeing just how powerful she can be, and decided to focus more on SInister Six... One of the best decisions I made in this game. My SInister Six team has carried me through a LOT of battles and I'm only currently level 61 and they're all 4 star, with a few red stars on some of them. Slowly working on New Avengers in the background as well as a few other characters.

None of those characters mentioned show up in my Arena or Blitz store…. Do I need to be a certain level to see them? I’m a returning player, I played the game for about 2 years from day 1 release. Man how it’s changed!

Not sure why you would get Luke Cage out of Blitz store as heroes for hire when the same store has Shang Chi, which is an awesome stand alone charcater and also a hero for hire

You are using Luke Cage to unlock Doc Oc. Shang Chi does not help you do that.

I would consider replacing Electro with Venom. Heck even Rhino over Electro. Loki is free as well and is a valuable character once you start unlocking further campaigns.

Just a heads up, you can EASILY farm Iron Man right now, there's an event, hurry hurry. I got him second day. This is my second account tho, first one is scuffed.

The event is permanent. The issue is not access to the event, it is that the characters required for the event are low priority. Iron Man just isn't worth setting yourself back by building those characters. Unless you love Iron Man (It's always ok to go after your favourites) it's better to just get on with the game, and grab Iron Man as and when you happen to have the characters ready.

I'm new but kinda feel like Iron Man is worth the grind. Look, I'm building Captain America and Hulk already regardless. And I can build Black Widow and Hawkeye for the Doc Ock Campaign, which is absolutely necessary for my Sinister 6 team. So I really only need to build 2 additional shield characters. Yes I can build other characters for Doc Ock, but I ain't into X-Force or Guardians of the Galaxy or X-Men or Mystic or Spiderman or SuperSkrull or Black Order or Symbiote or Defenders or Hydra or aim or whatever. won't it be more worth it to run a hero team (avengers) and a villain team (sinister six) before I run anything else?

Iron man is sadly not a strong character in the game, he's very outdated so his stats just don't keep up. Capt America and hulk are both part of other teams that are relevant ("out of time" and "gamma" respectively) so they'll be worth building up for a good while (lvl 75). Black widow is part of the "infestation" team which is not great but not terrible. Capt>Hulk>Widow>Thor>Hawkeye>Iron man. (Iron Man Infinity war is a different character who is absolutely worth building). Honestly a hero team isn't super important as it'll naturally progress. targeting that villain team is very helpful so you don't get stuck too badly in content. The game is very much more a 'team' build game than a 'character' build game. But there are so many, focusing on what you can get of the newest teams will be the most worthwhile in terms of gameplay.

I think Luke is better for the sake of being able to use him on slightly meta team later. Deadpool is used nowhere right now.

Worked for me on the 13th, the other codes for VENOMFREE and WELCOME did not work the same day but both worked the following day - we store is just buggy as hell on occasion

You get them from doing blitzes. Each blitz win gives you a certain amount of blitz credits. It's just slow going on the beginning.

I buy every blue iso in store everytime it refreshes. I still have over 20mil, so buy buy buy. I also focus on the mini uniques in every store.

He is not specifically needed for anything initially and doesn't have as much value without also having Sersi. He is very much a character you can hold off on.
