Right?! I was thinking about how yeah sure it sucks for ALL the athletes who we're aiming for Tokyo 2020 to have it pushes back until 2021 (at LEAST!) but for EQUESTRIANS!!! that means not just keeping YOURSELF fit, healthy & holding your own at the elite level of your sport... But it means AN ADDITIONAL YEAR of doing this for your HORSE, TOO!! The HORSE member of the "partnership" is, I would assume & think most would consider to be- the far more "delicate" of the pair, when you're talking horse or rider... Keeping a top level horse fit, sound, happy & healthy his getting to the highest level of its respective sport but then to MAINTAIN that fitness, soundness & to keep WINNING & to stay at the top of the international leaderboard for ANOTHER FULL YEAR... and a season where most big International competitions were CANCELLED! I can't imagine trying remain at the level where you were at the end of 2019 through THIS last entire sh**show of a year/season that has been 2020!!! AHHHHHH!!!! Insanity!! Still pulling for my fellow West Coast girl, and who would be an Olympic Rookie with Tamie Smith & a horse who my old trainer also actually imported from Germany some 12+yrs ago& a horse who I know personally- "Mai Baum" aka Lexus- I'm still pulling for them to go to Tokyo together in 2021!! They helped bring home team gold when they were named to the US ET to represent the US at the Pan American Games & actually had the 1st place dressage ride & a double clean show jump round- just a bit of an unfortunate XC round kept them from bringing home INDIVIDUAL GOLD too at their FIRST International team outing! Badass!!! Still pulling for you & the team for Tokyo 2021! After just winning ALL of the FEI levels at Twin Rivers a few weekends ago?! Seems right on target! 😁 Keep up the great riding, Tamie!!! 🐎 ❤️💙🖤🐴

Guys, don’t judge anyone’s riding, we all know that riding is hard and takes a lot of dedication and for some people it just does not come as naturally. It does not mean that their bad, it just means that they have to keep training and if they decide to do that, the that means they are a true dedicated rider, being an equestrian is not all about having great equitation, it is about how much you love your horse and how dedicated you are. Not hate against anyone, but don’t go around criticizing when you don’t know the whole story👋😊

Very insightful and interesting. Thank you for making this video. Just one question. Why was it limited to only these events? What about polo and racing? What about Western events such as cutting, reigning, and reigning cow horse? What about the snaffle bit futurity and the world's greatest? Where do these moments fall in the equestrian highlights of the year?

Interesting how the FEI people seem to think they are the only equestrians, ignoring saddle-seat, stock seat, and all the other styles of riding in the world. Title should be "Top 15 FEI Moments".

FEI is dressage, jumping, eventing, endurance, vaulting and a western discipline.

Well wait, what IS IT called...? I thought it was essentially that?? I'm certainly not watching this hoping or expecting or even wanting to see any froo froo hunters or western nonsense or rodeo yeehaw BS or cutting & reining or trail classes blah blah blah.... FEI represents the ACTUAL international horse SPORTS/aka disciplines that are competed around the world & are respected as true "Sporting horse sports," and are represented in world equestrian games, Olympic games, asian/european/pan-am games, etc... They DO cover a pretty large group of Equestrian sports though! Sure cover all the ones IM interested in & AREN'T associated with garbage ones I don't want anything to do with!! (Racing- vomit- rodeos & western nonsense, prissy hunters... You probably catch my drift lol)

I have a question!!??? Can someone help me out here?? What does the "OLD" mean after the horses name? As in: "SAP Hale Bob OLD"??? Thanks! (My guess, Oldenburg???) lol I have know idea!
@carliecole25634 жыл бұрын
Lol you're funny! Youre right though, cuz yes, it does mean Oldenburg! (I was dying a few years ago watching the Usa Eventing Championships & realizing that apparently I need to go back & re take jr high geography because I was SOO CONFUSED why this one rider was just always listed as "Novice Horse" even though it was clearly open novice Championships... Not "Horse," but they kept showing NH with his name...?! Then I realized that we DO indeed have not even just ONE but a couple states here in the US that start with the letter N... And that that NH I kept seeing beside that riders name was where they were FROM- "NEW HAMPSHIRE," not friggin NOVICE HORSE! Omg.... Sooo duuuumb lol. I kept thinking too "they don't even DO 'horse' divisions anymore like that, do they?! That was like back in the early 2000s when they did that?!" New HAMPSHIRE... ha! Duuuhhrr... Good thinkin' Carlie! So. Yes. Old= Oldenburg. Good job 👍

Meeee toooo! Soo cool! (But am I the only one who's kind of thrown off by the fact that they don't wear tails...? They just wear like a regular old hunt coat in their dressage test... Like we do in 3 day Eventing at lower levels & horse trials, before we compete at bigger & FEI Level competitions- we compete in show jumping and dressage usually with the same hunt coat & don't even get to wear tails in dressage until you're going pretty high level!) It just seemed odd watching her compete in top level pure dressage in just a simple hunt coat?! I'm obviously NOT a pure dressage rider, so... Am I just being a dumb dummy missing something here?! She looked great- it's just kind of unusual seeing a top Dressage rider competing in a simple hunt coat!

Wow I'm 0% shocked at all by the complete lack of representation of Endurance Racing in this video. As if we don't have incredibly emotional and triumphant moments too. It's like the FEI forgets they are more than just eventing, vaulting, and driving. Edit: I went and looked through this channel's videos and I see the most recent videos about Endurance are from over 1 year ago, 5 years ago, 6, etc. This is just sad and pathetic. Scrolled through months worth of videos and didn't see any for reining either.
