I'll never understand why Plup thought Mango was going for ledge in Smash Summit 2. He didn't even throw out a hitbox, that was a hard read that he would go to the ledge or drift back to snap ledge. And that dash attack must've been a missed input which cost him the game.

That's because Plup grabbing the edge isn't him thinking Mango would go for ledge. He's limiting Mango's recovery options to be only high. It's common to hold ledge against Sheiks because her Up-B ending lag is really high and you can get a punish when they land. You're probably right about the dash attack being a misinput though.

that upb height is really hard to do good coverage on, and if he picks a higher angle then you have time to hit him after the regular getup

Did he just miscalculate the spacing of the firefox and not think Mango was going to reach the side platform, or was that just a missed input?

It's a handoff combo, much harder to do than wobbling and I think Nana throws randomly in the middle of the stage or something so it's sometimes not possible to follow up But yeah wobbling is much easier to do and impossible to get out of
