For me the new Star Wars films, the new Jurassic Park films, the Disney live-action remakes, and the Fast & Furious films are part of a new genre: movies engineered specifically to be events that will scoop up your average movie-going audience who only goes to the theater a few times in any given year. Honestly by those standards, even as someone who doesn't like Rogue One or The Last Jedi, the new Star Wars movies are actually kind of amazing. The problem is that, well, those are very low standards! It's a little sad that Star Wars has went from being George Lucas's brainchild to just another Hollywood cash cow, but I find the sheer level of vitriol aimed at the new Star Wars films to be horribly misplaced when they at least succeed at being crowdpleasers.

I personally think Endgame is the best. I saw it at the midnight showing and absolutely loved it. I didn’t think it would beat Guardians of the Galaxy as my favorite movie but as soon as Sam said “On your left” I just started balling tears of joy because of how much I loved this franchise and how much it meant to me. I thought it was absolutely perfect.

My list: 1. Avengers End Game (After Couple of rewatch in theatre and including the imax experience it is my favorite) 2. Avengers Infinity War ( absolutely good) 3. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows part 2 4. The Avengers Assemble ( Only complain is lack of emotional moment) 5. In Fallen Kingdoms defence: the volcano has always been there. It was on some JP maps, the Telltale story, Jurassic World and even the original novels by Michael Chrichton. Though that doesnt take away the whole auction and indoraptor thing didnt really make sense

the deadpool reborn Yea I’m a huge marvel nerd as well. I had dreams of myself watching the movie in the theater before it came out. I was so damn excited, and it was definitely an unforgettable and amazing experience but it honestly wouldn’t have been as good had I not been a marvel fan and seen it at home. Marvel has only made a few masterpieces as far as movie quality goes, and unfortunately it wasn’t one of them, just a great event. The masterpieces for me are Iron Man, Captain America The Winter Soldier, Guardians of the Galaxy, MAYBE Infinity War.

I’ve not seen all of these but I’ll rank the ones I have seen. Please respect my very unpopular opinion. (13): Star Wars: the Force awakens. I’m not a big Star Wars, but whenever a Star Wars movie releases, I’ll go and watch it. However, i really wish I had never seen this movie. I'm not joking when I say I felt every second drag by. I get and respect that many people like this film, but it's not for me. (12): Jurassic world: fallen kingdom. Sean pretty much said everything I have to say about this film. (11): beauty and the beast. I don't hate or like this movie. I think it's alright, but just like Sean said, it was very forgettable. (10): Avengers: Age of Ultron. I was 11 when I first watched this movie and it felt very bland to me at that age, so I don't know what id think of it now that I'm older. (9): Jurassic world. Sean basically said everything I wanted to say. (8): Titanic. Romance films aren't really my type of film, but I could sit through a lot worse. The acting was good, the set was good, and you can see that a lot of effort went into making this movie. (7): Star Wars: the last Jedi. No, there has not been confusion with the names of the two Star Wars films. I genuinely find this one better. You probably read that I'm not the biggest fan of Star Wars, so after I watched this movie I left the cinema feeling satisfied because of how I didn't hate it. I see that there are flaws, but overall, I think it was a pretty solid movie. Ok, writing this list is taking longer than I thought, so I'm just gonna go through 6-4 quickly. (6): frozen. (5): black panther. (4): Avengers Assemble. (3): Avatar. I'm the person that Sean was talking about. I rewatch this film at home. It's been a while since I last watched this film, but, from what I remember, the visuals were beautiful, the acting was amazing, and the story was fun. I don't really remember having any major complaints, but the stuff I did like I didn't like as much as the next two on my list. (2): Avengers: Endgame. I really, really enjoyed this movie: the story was mostly amazing, the acting was perfect, the visuals were some of the most beautiful I have ever seen in a movie, the comedy was good, it was emotional, and it was an amazing sequel to infinity war. My only 2 complaints are iron man's death was spoiled for me and the time travel felt a bit too weird, but overall, it was amazing. (1): Avengers: Infinity War. Everything I just said about endgame applies to this movie, but better. I think Thanos was, by far, the best thing in this movie. His motives were clear and not stupid, he truly believed in what he was doing, he was intimidating, and he was acted perfectly by Josh Brolin. This movie is one of my favourites of all time.

I actually loved fallen kingdom. I avoided every trailer and I think that might be the reason, I knew absolutely nothing over than a volcanic explosion. Therefore when they moved to the house it was so unexpected that it really increased my enjoyment of it. I saw it three times in cinemas

I've managed to watch all of these movies except for Frozen, so here's my ranking. 1. Marvel's The Avengers- The teamwork & just seeing how these heroes first got together is still cool to see & the movie to me just has a fun feel to it with great pacing. Also the Hulk kicks major ass in this movie. 2. Avengers: Age of Ultron- This is probably a suprise for how high this is ranked but I just really like the feel of this movie. I liked Ultron as the villain. He was a different kind of villain but I liked how it tied into Tony Stark & how he has similar characteristics to Tony. The action sequences in this were really good too, especially the one at the end on the island rock or whatever. 3. Star Wars: The Force Awakens- It's the best of the new trilogy for me. I would say Ray & Fin are at there best in this movie, & while the plot is simple & a sort of rehash of A New Hope, that didn't bother me. Plus there's some shocking twists & reveals that worked for me. 4. Avenger's Infinity War- Just seeing how they were able to fit all these heroes in & make it work on this type of scale. Thano's was such a threat, but he also had good dimension to him. I liked sort of just the struggle our Avengers crew had to go threw to get all of the Infinity stones. The snap at the end was so shocking & them just ending the movie off a cliffhanger like that was so ballsy to me. 5. Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom- I remember really enjoying this one, but I actually don't remember to much about it besides that whole Volcano sequence & Chris Pratt I think searching for his Raptor friend, I forget the name of from the first movie. This is one I need to revisit. 6. Jurassic World- Pretty solid movie, but I found some of the characters annoying & some of the humor didn't quite work for me. However the action & sequences in this are pretty cool especially all the stuff at the end, I remember this like Water Dinosaur or something. I need to revisit this one too. In fact I'll probably go on a Jurassic Park marathon watch one day as it's been a while since I've seen any of these movies, especially the original trilogy. 7. Black Panther- Certainly a big movie in history, to have a black movie about a superhero be one of the highest grossing movie's of all time is awesome & being black myself, the story did resonate in ways when it pertained to the villain of the movie Killmonger. I mean in ways he actually was more a anti- hero in a way, at least to himself, like he felt betrayed by what his uncle did to him leaving him behind in the projects while you got Black Panther & crew living in Wakanda separate from the world at large. As a whole though I really liked the costume design & how Wakanda looked. I would say though the action sequences towards the end & CGI was lacking, & I would have liked to see Andy Serkis's character the Klaw live a little longer, but mostly everything else in this was great. The characters were excellent in this & the women kicked ass in this, especially, Okoye's character. 8. Beauty & the Beast- I never really watched the animated version, at least not all the way through but this live action version I actually quite enjoyed. I do think the CGI for The Beast was a little wonky at times but overall I thought this was pretty good. 9. Furious 7- It's not my favorite in the Furious movies but I enjoyed watching it when I saw it back in theaters. 10. Star Wars: The Last Jedi- This was kind of a weird movie for me. I enjoyed it but half of the time I didn't really know what was happening. I need to give this a revisit to clear up some of my confusion. 11. Endgame- I don't know, I don't really like this one for some reason. The movie kind of drags for me. I did like how they brought back Ant Man into this after the events of the end of Ant Man & the Wasp. I did like Captain Marvel in this more than in her debut movie. 12. Titanic- I quite enjoyed watching this on VHS as a kid but now I don't think I can watch this all the way through anymore. I think I need an abridge version like cut out the first hour and than go from there. 13. Deathly Hollows Part 2- A lot of people like this one more than Part 1 but I actually liked Part 1 quite a bit more than Part 2. 14. Avatar- I watched this in the theaters with the 3D glasses & it was a cool experience but otherwise I don't have much reason to revisit this at home. Most of the strengths of the movie are the visuals which was enhanced in theaters especially with 3D glasses.

Out of all the films on this list, I saw 12 of them. So I’ll try the 12 I saw…… 12. Beauty and the Beast- not a film I thought I’d see, but it was enjoyable. I’m not surprised that it was one of the highest grossing films because I think it was number one on the best movies of 2017. 11. Star Wars: The Last Jedi- I’m a little surprised to see this film on the list. I had some fun with it. 10. Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom- first film I saw in this series, and I mainly went to it because there wasn’t really anything else on and it had Chris Pratt in it. Totally worth it. 9. Avengers Age of Ultron- bit of a coincidence that all four Avengers movies made this list. But this one was still pretty cool. 8. Frozen- I kind of saw this coming. You have no idea how much this film stuck around in my life. When I was in a choir a few years ago, we sung the songs while the movie was playing in the theater THREE times in one day. It was crazy. 7. Black Panther- seeing that this movie was huge when it released, and won many awards, I’m not surprised that it made the list. 6. Jurassic World- saw the full film for the first time at Christmas. It really was a Taco Bell movie. Why am I hungry? 5. Star Wars: The Force Awakens- first Star Wars film I saw in cinemas, and it was cool. 4. The Avengers- definitely one of the best MCU movies. It’s no surprise that it’s on the list. 3. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2- first movie franchise I’ve ever watched, and it lead up to this awesome finale. 2. Avengers Infinity War- it’s pretty obvious why this movie is this high. 1. Avengers Endgame- same here.

I absolutely adore Avatar, one of my favorite movies I’ve ever seen, but I understand that it is not original at all. I am 17 years old and have not seen any of these movies that Avatar borrowed from, so I can’t bash it for not being original. The effects are, to me, unmatched still to this day and the action and world building gave it such a sense of grandeur that very few movies have ever given me

Timing stuff is interesting to me as well, I did it once for Spider-Man 2 when I was 10 to see how long it took until Spider-Man had an action sequence. It took 45 minutes for Spidey to have a 1 minute car chase. And as a 10 year old at the time, that's VERY long!

Top 3 in my opinion, buds! *1. Endgame* - It is the most emotionally resonating Marvel movie for me. It brilliantly pays off so many narratives and caps off the saga beautifully. I love the endings, the creative decisions and the fact that it balances epic payoffs with quieter, sombre scenes. It's pacing gives you time to breathe and lets the emotions flow. Also Time Heist is the funnest hour in the MCU for me. *2. Infinity War* - Action and spectacle is the draw for me which is awesome. Thanos was a fantastic villain. I love the character interactions as well as the high stakes. And the ending was .. well you know. It is an awesome crossover, culmination event and I enjoy it a lot. *3. The Avengers* - It did an amazing job at bringing the characters together for the first time. The banter is some of the best and the spectacle is also great. It is so satisfying especially after seeing how far MCU has come now. It feels like a golden age comic book issue, the narrative of which concluded spectacularly with the end of the Infinity Saga.

The last Jedi throne room scene is actually one of the worst choreographed fight scenes. Trust me just search up a slow motion breakdown of it. Guards getting hit seconds before the actual hit, guards waiting around in the background while other are being attacked, and many missed punches and kicks by a long shot but guards still flew backwards
