Hey there, folks! Today, we’re going to take a bit of a detour from our usual discussions about the best of the best in the world of pistols. Instead, we’re going to dive into a topic that’s equally important, but often overlooked: the pistols that, quite frankly, I wouldn’t be caught dead carrying. Now, don’t get me wrong, every pistol has its place and purpose, but there are some that just don’t make the cut for me. Whether it’s due to reliability issues, poor ergonomics, or just plain bad design, these are the pistols that have earned a spot on my personal “do not carry” list.

The Derringer was meant for point blank up against the body shooting that's the reason the gun was made so small so don't say that it's not worth having

Bond Arms 410 2-shot Derringer doesn't seem like such a silly option to me. Great pocket pistol! I still have a 9mm semi-auto as my EDC but a pocket option is useful. I'm a delivery guy & am at high risk of being carjacked, robbed or mugged. If my pocket is a faster option than unholstering my 9, I'm going for it

Concealed carry depends on the person and what there size they are. I am 6 foot 9 and 340 pounds with large hands and I carry a S&W 500mag and very conformable with it in Montana.

Used to conceal carry my 6 inch Python in the winter, but yeah in the summer it would be pointless trying to conceal carry that.

I EDC one of three firearms depending on what I'm wearing that day, my smith & wesson 38 special titanium ultralite (knick named wrist breaker by my wife) with zero issues, my Glock 17 full frame (knick named the brick by my son & my wife) with minor and inconsistent double tap issue after it gets hot at the range, haven't been able to cure it myself and a couple os local gunsmiths have scratched their heads about it also, and finally my SCCY CPX 2 9mm (no knick name ) and I bought it used from a coworker because she was having failure to feed issues (a known trait) but 20 minutes in the workshop to fix the magazines quality control issues and the purchase of two new gen magazines and switching to the correct recommended ammo and I've had zero issues with the firearm since with nearly 1000 rounds through it, with five inch groupings telling me that once you learn and practice with it, it is incredibly accurate and dependable, and I'm looking to fix the heavy trigger with a very inexpensive spring kit coming up in a few weeks, which will drop the pull from the stock 9 pounds to 4.5 pounds, in all I would have to disagree with your assessment of the SCCY, cheap doesn't equal bad and I've seen nothing in my 54 years that is perfect for everyone right off the assembly line...

I switch between the m9 and 1911A1 with a backup of a Glock 26, I have a m971 vCR .357 6” barrel I’ll carry if I want to switch up, I got use to carry a full size weapon in the military

For concealed carry I like small guns that don’t print. 9mm is my preferred cartridge

410 carry gun was made popular in 2010. S&w 686 heavy af and not hammerless. Derringer heavy but very reliable. Say the magnums revolver is trash but just said the 686 was a good gun. Ruger 57 is heavy af not comfortable at all. Never had an issue with my toke or CZ. The curve feels great but the sights are trash and didn’t always fire. My sccy is amazing never jams trigger isn’t great but its functioning is flawless. (Use better ammo)

I carry north American 22mag and I carry judge when we trail ride nothing like a shot gun for feral dog or coyote
