You didn't cover the most exciting...and popular!..evehicle today! Ebikes!!! Pedal assisted road and mountain bikes have Arrived folks!! The technology has matured to where you almost can't tell it's not a normal bike. Every year the function improves but prices decrease with increasing sales!! Not featuring them was a hugh blind spot!!

I love this new collection of electric mobility platforms. Especially the e-bikes with 100+ miles range per charge, the robot chairs for the handicapped, and power chairs for small kids. Those child-sized power chairs would be a cool rental inside malls and theme parks or resorts for all kids regardless. I also thought the enclosed mobility scooter for the elderly would make for a nice mall rental also in the same locations.

I love the idea of small transportation devices. Some of these are great for people who use public transportation in conjunction with them (Audi). I want one but I didn't see one that would be handy for getting a few bags of groceries home. Some of us have to haul more stuff than we can carry in a backpack.

No.5 delfast prime cought my eyes. This off road bike is most suitable for the Indian roads. Though it cost too much as of now. Hoping to have it's low cost version available soon. Oh yes, a similar electric bike is currently under test in India. It's made in India and quite cheaper as compared to this one. I hope they will be available through out the country soon.

I agree and hopefully they start dropping in price like most things like this tend to do. I do think some of these scooters and e bikes are overpriced. Possibly at this stage and time manufacturing costs are extremely high for reasons unknown to me. Thanks for watching!

Where does the electricity come from? And how much coal or natural gas gets burned to charge your vehicle ? (line loss, charge efficiency, charge loss...) still cool
@mindseyedesign4 жыл бұрын
The ammont of coal used to charge your vehicle would be minimal in most cases. With solar charging stations finding their way to most cities and even solar powered cars now, every year moving forward, the need for coal and gas will drop. Most likely, within the next several years, lithium batteries will be replaced by drastically better alternatives as well. I agree with you about it being cool seeing all this come about. It seems like just a few years ago we had one option, and that was pay the oil compaines whatever they felt like gas should cost that day. Some people were buying into gas banks to store thinking gas costs were going upward $10 per gallon. Everyone wanted options. I'm amazed at the rapid growth in the e vehicle and solar industry.
@anthonythorp72914 жыл бұрын
Potatoradio. SSHHHHH !!!! These are eco friendly zero emissions alternatives. You're not suppose to mention everything else connected to them from manufacturing to charging still destroying the planet. People can't falsely feel good about themselves if you mention iron copper aluminum lead mines, oil industries for tires plastic wire insulation nature gas for electricity,

How about some vehicles for older people with disabilities
@mindseyedesign4 жыл бұрын
Number 2 and 3 are both for elder people and those w disabilities and number 1 is for kids with disabilities. Got to watch to the end to see them all.

With handicaps, often weight is an issue. So is size and flexibility/mobility of individual. I doubt I could get in/out of #3 even if it could carry my large inflexible 300 pound frame.
@anthonythorp72914 жыл бұрын
Also I question the tiny tires. It may cause problems including stability. And let's not forget, not everybody lives in the Caribbean. I know you're just bringing these to light and not doing a full work up but I'm just pointing out they don't impress me for handicapped use.

I liked the cabon car mobility scooter. What if the person needs to go over a hundred miles ... And at least 30 mph. And can be rechargeable by using solor pannles on the roof on the top of the scooter and be sued like a personal ride the public transportation including cabs uber or the onther one when the person suffering from ptsd. When being around others you get nurves..
@mindseyedesign4 жыл бұрын
They could stay the night and charge it up. Most these type vehicles are made for short distance travel. Over time new models will go futher than the one before. I like the idea of the battery being swapped out at a station in the previous segment. Perhaps in future designs they could consider doing that with all electric vehicles.

E scooters are illegal in UK, except on private land,so uptake could be low. Yes I know the law is widely ignored but we have had one death and many injuries, so expect the Police to take more interest. Pedelec ebikes are mainly legal, so this is the way forward, especially folders for urban use.
@mindseyedesign4 жыл бұрын
The e scooters are illegal there? Because of one death? I don't see how they are more dangerous than a typical gas scooter.
