Ive always worn fragrances but i have never received as many compliments as do after i started watching this channel. Why are they complimenting me now? 1. I don't just wear whats popular. 2. I'm no longer a sissy sprayer 3. I spray for the moment, not the day. What i mean, i don't just take a shower and spray myself to last all day. I spray just before each phase in the day. Aoud lemon mint works really amazing for me, it is by far my most complimented niche (still need a bunch for sure) Somehow it just suits me, summer, winter dosent matter. I could sell all, and keep it together with le male le parfum, luna rossa black, and missioni wave, and i'll be good.

Red tobacco has crazy projection and you can’t scrub that stuff off. Two sprays is almost too much and Nero is beast but smelled like tree bark for the 1st hr. Softened and then will last until your 2nd shower. Only one spray is needed.

If I see Ether at a discounter I’m definitely grabbing it. The great thing about real Oud is that if it’s too skanky you can just layer it with something to tone it down. Good list I have a lot of them, I do like Oud Satin Mood over Alexandria 2, although it’s close. Two I would add are Portrait if a Lady by Frederick Malle and Amber Oud by Roja. Amber Oud is pricy though so get a decant first.

Not sure if Tom Ford Private Blend counts as niche but Lost Cherry is one of the best fitting for this topic imho. If not counts then I would say Xerjoff - Via Cavour 1 :)

I regularly use Guerlian Vetiver and Dior Homme Intense but have not go a single compliment so far. In fact, I have not got any one a single perfume. Either they are not projecting properly (which they actually are because I can smell them all day long) or people around me have no knowledge about such classy and nice perfumes (which is what I like to believe for m sake :) )

Layton is no joke. It really does last all day on me and smells fantastic. What's in it that makes it last so long and project? Is it the same for PDM frags? I'm thinking about getting Haltane and Herod, would they last as long as Layton does?

Layton has heavy notes in the fragrance wich makes it long lasting. Haltane and Herof are good aswell but not as good as Layton

In recent years, PDM is very inconsistent. I had a 2021 batch of Herod, and it was complete garbage. Sold it and have no desire to try again. My 2020 Layton doesn't nearly have that beast mode performance everyone is talking about, maybe 8 hours on a good day just as 2022 Percival. Kalan and Pegasus Exclusif are the only PDMs in my collection that I would rate good in terms of performance.

I already own and adore Alexandria II before you mentioned it Michaela. I also love Scorpion Intense which I bought because of you (very grateful !!) and I will try Ether and Caelum. The thing that I want to clarify from what I've seen in Fragrantica is that the master perfumer of Caelum is Chris Maurice who is one of the directors of Carbonnel S.A. and not Chris Carbonnel. As always excellent video!

From my little experience Oud is a difficult note to be liked by women. And imagine that I do not like skanky-animalic oud. . .
