Right now the top 3 are Zhu Ting, Bosjovic and Kim, because Gamova, Castro don´t play anymore, and Hooker, Hill, Wang Yimey have dropped their levels, but in the history de top 15 is different, Ekaterina Gamova, Lang Ping, Mireya Luis, Cecilia Tait, Ana Mozer, Sokolova, Flo Hyman, Godina, Madeleyne Montaño, Karen Kemmer, were so incredible spikers

Agreed. Since volleyball is a team sport, a player's legacy has to be based on her team's success in major (quadrennial) tournaments in addition to her own accomplishments in terms of MVP and best scorer/spiker awarded in such tournaments. Thus, the USSR, Cuban and Brazilian players whose teams dominated for decades while winning gold medals in the major tournaments would have the edge when it comes to historical greatness. Michael Jordan wouldn't be "the greatest basketball player of all time" without six NBA titles. In this regard, Zhu Ting has no peers among active players, with Natalia Pereira coming closest. At 23, Zhu Ting has the opportunity to build her legacy as the greatest volleyball player of all time.

for me its zhu ting shes a legend in 2016 rio olympic , the only problem that i can see in chinise team is their floor defense but in terms of blockings and spiking ugh they are all monsters specially Zhu many of her spikes are over the blocker

Zhu Ting is zhuper she's on another level of skills. Her 13 MVP titles in all levels of the competition will say that she's the best of all time. Mireya luis - The monster of a vertical jump. Gamova - The best opposite of all time.

Amazing players, I think the old volleyball school was better I prefer Gamova, Kim Yeon Koung, Hooker, Saori and Sheilla. The 2012 olympic games was the best.

@@hirah13 Gamova has great body advantage in women volleyball and Sheilla always attacks to single blocks because of Brazilian's great middle blockers Fabiana and Thaisa on the other hand Neslihan has no advantage in volleyball just 187cm player most of the players are taller than her and she always lead her teams even many obstacle (National and Clubs). And also sue has the smartest attacks of whole times. She is the most underrated player of Volleyball.

For me its, Mireya Luis, Zhu Ting, KYK, Egonu and Barros... Luis for her admirable and excellent high jumping that she could drop powerfully the ball vertically in the first row, Zhu for her power to attack, KYK for her talented and rational spike where she would exactly know where to drop the ball (thanks for her hangtime skill when on air), Egonu, well everybody knows how powerfull her attacks are. those muscles are built for it. and lastly, Barros... a not so tall volleyball player but her attacks are deadly and powerfull.like Luis, she can make those feet fly so high.. .. .... i love them all.

Todas grandes atacantes pero mi top 5 de las más espectaculares son Gamova, Zhu t, Boskobic Kosheleva y Hooker que no sale aquí, y con Goncharova se suman a las más temibles en bloqueo también jeje, por década, de los 90's Mireya es la reina, de los 2000's indiscutiblemente Gamova lideró como la mejor del mundo y ahora Zhu t es la nueva estrella mundial :), Sokolova, Sheila, Dernel, Larson y Saori las dejo como las atacantes más astutas jajaja

Ninguna de éstas chicas saltaba más alto que Mireya Luis. Mireya saltaba más de un metro mientras estas chicas no superan ni los 50 centímetros, lo que las hace sobresaliente es que miden casi dos metros de estatura.
